We own a home in a 55+ neighborhood which we bought for my mom when she was alive. Since she passed it is a rental and even though we are now 55+ we may need it some day so we rent it out. Modern Management Company has way too much time on their hands. During Covid, the mailbox is full and I cannot leave a message. They say they are only handling emergencies, and yet they had time to send me a letter because my renter has a sign in the yard that they want me to remove. Free speech is allowed by law and we will not be taking it down. The sign says "Stay strong. We will get through this together" with an artist's rendition of a mushroom wearing a mask. (representing Morgan Hill).... A sign that supports our community and they are all over town and a great way of thinking about our neighbors in a time of crisis. Yes I am sure an old biddy who is angry or demented probably complained, but why does Modern Management have time for sending me a notice and yet not time to empty the phone voice mail. I have found that they are very petty and I intend to ask the homeowner association to find a management company that has more common sense and that can do their homework before harassing owners. I will also be in contact with the homeowner association to find out why they are using this management company because if this is what they are looking for, they too need to be replaced. Zero stars should have been an option.

Calling for HOA fee balance due to HOA receiving account changed to different financial institution. I was told the person who handles the payment account is working from home (WFH). Called three times on three different days and was told again, the person is still WFH. I have nothing to again the remote working, but I expect WFH policy also requires the person to response to email/phone call within 2-3 hours or at least 1 day. No response more than one day. Not until I demanded to speak to the supervisor about the issue. I hope this is an isolate event!

Knowledgeable on the new laws associated with HOA’s. Very nice people. They are not responsible for HOA broads taking a long time to make decisions, but the push hard for resolutions.

Have been trying to get approval from HOA for the solar project. After 3 months of follow up I am still waiting for an answer. The response time and customer service of this org is pathetic.
