I can honestly say that I lucked out with connecting with Mike Pereira. Buying a home can be really stressful at times, but Mike made the the entire experience a lot easier than I thought. He was able to answer all of my questions confidently without skipping a beat! I was a first time home buyer. Treading on new territory can be somewhat nerve wracking, but after I spoke to Mike I felt much more confident, and excited about taking this next step in life. I actually found mike on Instagram. He does a lot of Videos regarding real estate and for someone who works in real estate, i decided to follow him and found him very educational.

I have gotten to know Mike now as a friend and as an agent. I have recommended mike to plenty of people that were selling and buying.

Mike is not your typical real estate agent, Like i stated i work in this industry. I'v seen a lot of real estate agents who have a transaction coordinator, When you think your are hiring a real estate agent you are actually hiring their assistant instead , and you only see your agent, if your lucky at closing to obtain their commission.

Mike will never be one of those agents, He is there with you every step of the way. He is willing to go above and beyond for his clients and for all parties involved.

I have dealt with a lot of agents who " pass the buck", where it falls on the title agent to obtain all necessary information to close, and have been told many times by agents " isn't that your job", when indeed its actually the real estate agent job to obtain water, smoke cert etc.

Mike is not one those agents, who will ever pass the buck. He will do everything in his power to help you sell and or buy.

When you hire Mike, you are hiring 15-20 year plus experience real estate agent , a go- getter, a listener, a 2 am in the morning text or call real estate agent and last but not least someone to help you with the biggest transaction of your life.

I worked with Mike to purchase a home in northeastern Connecticut after my good friend who works in the real estate industry recommended I reach out. I had already found a couple homes I wanted to see and after speaking with Mike on the phone for the first time at like 6pm he said he would see what he could do about making appointments and a couple hours later he had both houses lined up for me to view the next evening - I was blown away! We ended up viewing 5 homes overall and he never complained about the driving, which I felt a little bad about making him do as he never required me to drive to his office (all documents were signed electronically which was incredibly convenient), but I brought him a coffee as a small token of appreciation (FYI he likes his coffee iced with milk & sugar, if you want to follow suit!). For the house I ended up picking, I brought an army of people with me (my dad, my boyfriend and my boyfriend's parents) and Mike took it in stride. He never did a sales pitch or tried to rush me. He seemed genuinely interested in each house, and even helped us out during the inspection finding hidden GFCIs and climbing up ladders with a flashlight to get a better handle on things as they came up. His demeanor and knowledge impressed me so much and he was such a wonderful presence... I could not have asked for a better person to juggle all the moving parts that are required during a real estate transaction. Mike was always available and he was fine with communicating over text (for us millennials lol) but jumped on calls whenever I needed more of an explanation. I know he had other clients (because I asked), but he never made me feel like I wasn't his top priority (and my house was <$300k so it wasn't like money was the driving factor) and he never got the details mixed up. I didn't have to remind him of context when asking questions - he just was so on top of everything and I'm sure he was making each of his other clients feel equally important. That isn't a skill one can learn and there are plenty of people who get into this business for one reason or another but are not as naturally qualified to be a realtor as Mike is. There were plenty of bumps that came up in my real estate transaction and I can say with total confidence that aside from actually moving into my new home, Mike was the best part of the journey and I am so fortunate he was on my team.
