I lived in this apartment in the older section from April 2023 until April 2024. We had a two bedroom, 1st floor apartment. I’ll start with the good, because it’s a shorter list.
quiet neighborhood, no issues at all with other residents. front office staff is nice and maintenance is very responsive.
Now with the bad. Our apartment was supposedly a renovated apartment. which basically meant, new appliances, a slap of cheap paint on the walls and new carpet. I saw the apartment for the first time the day I moved in, which is on me - the stench inside the apartment was horrible and never went away. It smelled like stale old cigarettes. one of our bathtubs leaked from day 1 and maintenance could never fix it. Our door locks(not electronic) quit working randomly every few months, The kitchen cabinets are basically crumbling due to being so old and just getting repainted for 40 years. and the absolute worst part - the reason I didn’t even live in the apartment the last month I paid for it. This place was infested with cockroaches. On the ceiling, walls, sidewalks outside. everywhere. i tried everything to get rid of them, had all of my food in plastic containers and cleaned up like a mad woman after everything. This apartments idea of pest control is having some company come out every other month (supposedly- I never physically saw them) and spray under the bathroom and kitchen sinks. Spoiler alert - it doesn’t work. Also I paid $1450.00 for this. I couldn’t get out fast enough, they will also find any reason they can think of for you not to get your deposit back.
So in conclusion, I felt safe in this apartment, and absolutely disgusted at the same time. Rent at your own risk. Request tours of the unit you will physically be living in and if you see any bugs, dead or alive prior to signing papers, I promise you will see more while living there.

Last summer my family and I found ourselves in a situation where we needed a home quickly. The staff at The Mews worked with us and got us into our home very quickly. They were kind and attentive to our needs. The maintenance staff was always quick when we needed help and the grounds were always very well maintained. We were very happy with our experience living at The Mews.

I lived at The Mews since Oct 2019. I have a Great experience here with the exception of the previous Property Manager. The new Property Manager is Great!! The maintenance Dept is also very good and responsive. Had a couple of issues during move in that were addressed quickly and professionally. Would highly recommend this community if your looking for a quiet, safe and family oriented community. Thanks, for being a wonderful place to live.. Edwin.

I have lived here at The Mews for over three years and I love this place! Summer and the entire staff in the office are friendly and efficient. Maintenance always is prompt with repairs and I have never had any issues here. The grounds are well kept as well. I highly recommend this complex and I am so glad to live here!

They are really nice people who work here. They also have really nice apartments. The apartments are big enough and they also remodeled it before we moved in. They help you with any complications and handle complaints very well.

I lived in one of the Meadows and Mews apartment for 4 months. Unfortunately i had to break my lease because of a huge water bug (big flying roaches) issue. The issue was so severe that i would be awoken to find them on my pillow. I did make management aware but the situation could not be remedied. The most I would last without roach activity would be 3 weeks. Management offered to move me to a newer apartment for a higher cost but ultimately because of my horrible experience i decided to decline their offer. Once i did, Pam the manager made me feel like i was the worst tenant. She said that i was exaggerating and just made me feel awful, then i decided to to do some research and find the phone number for the actual leasing company and spoke to a gentlemen who seemed to be in cahoots with Pam and brushed me off briskly. The only silver lining was Somer who also works in the office. She was a gem and really really tried to help. She's amazing and just so respectful and professional. But ultimately, if you're looking to rent from the mews.... BEWARE

I’d like to take the opportunity to say a few words about the Mews apartment management, they are the definition of professionalism and are also willing to help their tenets like my mother that is 89 & has medical needs. This place is more like a community where neighbors help each other. My family & I will be forevermore grateful to the Mews.

I visit here often. Every Monday there are landscapers cutting the grass, managing the flower beds, cutting hedges, etc. I've witnessed the apartments being pressure washed. This apartment complex is well kept.
