Started well but ended poorly.

Mario was very helpful when I initially contacted him to get the work.

Prior to this he had been here before trying to sell me a new thermostat when that was not the issue

This time it was to completely replace the heaters as he claimed the prior installer 5 years ago sold heaters that were too big

So many tens of thousands of dollars we have smaller heaters that take much longer to heat any of the rooms.

The biggest problem with the work that he did I am being grossly affected by is he didn’t put in an air filter…the work is also incomplete as the fan for just air doesn’t work either.

The filter issue is huge and so surprising as when he was here installing I asked him about rhe filters as i have multiple boxes of hvac filters sitting next to the heater he was installing. He states “they are the same filters and they need to be changed every 90 days”.

Yet despite these boxes sitting there, neither he nor his workers put the filter into the new heaters.

Since they left I’ve been feeling sicker and sicker - unable to breathe unable to see because my eyes have been so Irritated.

the past few days I’ve been sneezing and yesterday I had an asthma attack, unable to breathe.

I couldn’t understand what was going on. When I went outside the symptoms would clear up.

I tested this multiple times.

Last night I went out exhausted after sneezing all day every other minute

after 1/2 hour my breathing was easier and I stopped sneezing.

When I entered the house I immediately started sneezing again, my eyes were ichy again, vision blurring from the swelling and my breathing labored

I finally opened up the back of the heater to see that there was NO filter

Since he put the heaters in - 6 days ago - dust that includes rat feces and poison under the stairwell in the garage has been blowing into my house

I was sneezing for days and uncontrollably yesterday every other minute. I could not believe what was going on when I realized at midnight last night opening the Windows and putting a fan on to try to clear the dust so that I could breathe with windows open.

It is still extremely bad and dust is covering everything

Now the vents are filled with dust and so is my house

Everything is covered in dust

My lungs ache

I feel aweful. I have lost time working, sleep and the ability to breath.

I have a plugin fan running with a makeshift filter on top to try to clear the rest of the house since last night

I am locked in my room, unable to walk around my house because when I leave to go to the bathroom, I start to sneeze.

I don’t know what to do. The vents are covered in dust. My house is covered in dust and I am so sick from this

it is not a cold. It is dust from the unfiltered vents over 6 days .

Every surface including the walls has dust.

But Mario says he is not responsible

He definitely is responsibly.

I now need to have these duct clean and my house completely cleaned including the carpets, the walls and every exposed item as this is SO bad.

Instead of calling me to see what is wrong and how to solve it, he called my landlord to deflect his responsibility by saying he will come and put the filters in which is something but doesn’t solve the issues of the now dust ridden world

He never called me to discover what is happening nor the affects of this oversight on my health

I need to hire multiple cleaners and I need to get the ducks cleaned

I work out of my home and can’t be here now

I have been compromised since he left having more and more trouble breathing

This is a serious issue to now need to address to ensure my health

I asked how he could help me resolve this - his response was instead of calling and asking what was going on - to immediately text denying any responsibility to have put the filter sitting beside them in nor inform me there is no filter.

I had the courtesy to contact Mario first before calling my my landlord. I didn’t receive the same courtesy

Thank goodness my landlord is a decent person. But my heath and time are lost without regard.

My husband needed a look at his wall gas furnace of the building he rented out to tenants. The tenants complained turning up the thermostat wouldn't turn the heat on. I saw Next Day HVAC's five star reviews on Yelp , many that weren't recommended, because apparently Yelp wasn't paid by the owner to post these "great" reviews. Only one review apparently was flagged by Yelp as being legit and it was 5 star. Cool, right? NOPE!

I called Mario, the owner, explaining the dilemma and he claimed he would investigate the problem. My husband set up a date and time for him to come by the property. He let us know that he was running late past the two-hour timeframe he quoted us only AFTER we called him first to check on the status. Not great, but we let that pass, assuming the service he provided would probably make up for this blunder, based on the "rave" reviews posted on Yelp. Well, we were sorely disappointed. Once Mario met with my husband at the property, everything just spiraled downhill.

First off, Mario tried to deliberately mislead my husband into thinking the parts needed for the job cost three times more than what it actually cost. Mario said outright the heater would need to be replaced entirely and claimed parts and labor to replace the heater would cost us $2500 for a new wall furnace and labor for installation. A new furnace runs about $600 and takes about 3 hours to install. This would bring the labor costs to about $1900 for 3 hours of work. Seeing the sour face we made, he quickly knocked the price down to $2400. That would make the labor costs about $600/hr. Lawyers get paid less than what he was charging. He did give me the other option of just replacing the faulty part for $750. Google the part number and it is $250 from the factory or $125 from other dealers. Oh and took the part off in 5 minutes, so labor costs would be $500 for 5 minutes of work.

Mario charged my husband $75 for the initial visit as part of the diagnostic fee over the phone but then claimed once they met in person that an additional fee of $100 would apply in addition to the $75 to remove the broken valve, which took him 5 minutes to remove. My husband obviously thought this was an overcharge and he quickly brought the price to $120 total. Tourist traps are more honest than this guy is.

After conferring with a relative whose occupational background was in contracting, my husband told Mario the job was off and asked for his broken part back. The relative got someone else to care of the problem at a fraction of the cost.

We are sorry we ever contacted this company. Avoid this business and Mario at ALL costs!

Mario came to my house and gave me an estimate to do some work on my AC unit. We agreed for next day at 12p. I called him next day at 2p and kept saying he was busy and would get back to me within 30 minutes. I called him again at 3p and he said he was still tied up and would come next day at 9a so I agreed. Next day comes and it’s 11a, I called him and again he says he had an emergency and is stuck working on something and will call me when he is done. This guy is a joke! Don’t call him for service

Thanks MDB for replacing my heater. I called in couple days ago and today Mario and his team finished the work. Finally my home is warm.
They very responsive and puntual.

Stay away from this lier !! My ac condensor stop working fuse got bad .call him to check it out and after checking bad fuse he said contactor is bad to make money and cost $430 to fix it . Luckily i watched him while he is checking and replaced fuse cost $5 everything started working .
