An acquaintance recommended Mark McKenzie when I needed a realtor in central Arkansas. I spoke with him several times and chose him to be the listing agent for a property sale. We signed a listing agreement. Then I NEVER HEARD FROM HIM AGAIN. Although he predicted that it would take a year to sell our property we had 3 offers in the first 48 hours - we were notified of these offers from Mark's brother Jeff. We countered one offer, it was accepted, and then Jeff never contacted us again. He answered one question from me but did not reach out to me again. There was no communication from either of them ever again. I had to communicate with the title/closing office myself. I've bought and sold a number of properties and have never been ignored by my realtor! The very poor/nonexistent communication was surprising and disappointing.
