I bought a house in East Providence 5 years ago with another real estate agent. What a mistake, Mateus was the other realtor at the time. When it came time to sell the house, I went with Mateus Reality this time, and what a difference it makes when someone has 40 years of experience. After the inspection I had to upgrade several things, some electrical work, some plumbing, and carpentry. Luis Mateus turned into the best general contractor you could have. Not only was the work done well, it was done in a of a couple of weeks. Each person he brought in was an expert and cost-effective. I've bought and sold three houses in my life and I can say without a doubt, this was the best experience I've ever had with a Realtor. Top notch and highly recommended.

I do not really write reviews that much, but there are certain reviews that you cannot let it go by. Jeffrey Mateus is probably one of the best Professionals that I ever met, he has so much knowledge about the market, houses and just about anything that you can think of that has to do with houses. He will pretty much hold your hand and show you A – Z how to sell a house and in case you need to fix something, he will probably recommend someone very reliable for a very fair price. I personally could not recommend anyone better to do business with, he is very diligent and a very honest man that will go the extra mile to make sure that you are successful in your transaction. My family recently purchased a home remodeled and listed by this agency. It was a foreclosure that was fixed and set up with all new appliances. A couple weeks after moving in we started having issues with all the appliances. Our “new” fridge stopped working and when we asked if they had receipts for manufacturer warranty we got no reply. When we called the manufacturer themselves and had them come out to inspect we were told the fridge was actually used and parts had been swapped out so the warranty was annulled. It looks like they bought a new looking used fridge that was barely working to put in the house for the showings in order to secure offers. We now have to spend several thousand dollars on a new fridge because they duped us into thinking the appliances in the home were new. This is after we had to spend several hundred dollars properly re-installing the dishwasher they drilled into our kitchen without connecting to the water line. So we had to pay someone to un-drill it, connect to the water, and re-drill it. If you’re thinking of buying a home from this agency definitely inspect all the appliances carefully and demand receipts/proof of purchase for your protection. They appear to deal in very bad faith in our experience.
