I'm not sure my written words can accurately convey the level of service Mary Lou provided us. We (my sister and I) had been dealing with a sudden medical event which put us in the position of having to sell our mothers home. Mary Lou was compassionate, confident, and kept us on track every step of the way, emotionally and professionally. She had an amazing support network which she used with such efficiency, we had responses for every issue that arose promptly and with a solution. My mom's home was the 5th house I've had to sell and I am currently selling my own home (#6). Mary Lou has placed the bar so high, no realtor has, or I fear, will be able to fill her shoes. Mary Lou Lamontagne started working with me and my partner about 2 years ago when we first decided to move back to New England from Burbank, CA. She was helpful and supportive as we went through the selling process and was always ready with listings in Rhode Island for us to view online. Once our house sold in Burbank and we returned to the east coast, Mary Lou was ready and determined to find us the right house at the price we could afford. Over the next few winter months the listings were slim pickings but when the spring season hit the options started to increase. We would talk about the market frequently and would meet at open houses that were of interest. Any house that was on the market or having an open house, she made sure we could get in to view it. She made us feel like we were her only client. Then after we had offer and acceptance she kept us informed every step to closing, providing us with names and numbers for inspectors, contractors and attorneys.
