My experience has been terrible with this realty company. My spouse and I applied twice for the same property because the first time not all the paperwork was with the application. Second time all the paperwork that wasn’t attached was. I forgot who called me but the lady told me that my paperwork wasn’t accepted gave me an excuse although they knew what the paperwork was and proceeded to tell me there were other “more qualified applications.”She then told my spouse a different reason for why “we didn’t qualify.” Along with stating the required documents were never provided although they were. (Btw the house is still listed 3 weeks later. So where are the other qualified applicants?) The employees there don’t communicate and they will give you the run around.

I’ve lived many years on and off renting with Marina Realty..Sally is a very professional person. I have enjoyed renting their properties. I no longer live in Vallejo but if I choose to return I will definitely contact Sally. If you’re completely honest about your application Sally will try to work with you on getting your place. I give Marina Realty 5 stars.

This company apparently doesn't know the rules/laws about property management. Unprofessional as they text you regarding tenent rental concerns when they should contact you by other means. The text are worded to make it seem a certain way when it's not. Document EVERYTHING😲.

Good luck with them fixing things in a timely manner or addressing your concerns.

They also discriminate. Don't say that me and previous reviews of others didn't warn you 😬.

These people are the S**t!!!! Since they took over our apartment not only did they try to raise my rent over 10% without the California law required 60 days notice, but they think they have the right to close at anytime. The day we were suppose to pick up our deposit check they decided to close 3 hours early there was a wait of 40 min and several of phone calls for unprofessional Luz to show up and take into no consideration how long we had to wait when their business hours clearly say they were suppose to be OPEN! To top it off Sally, another unprofessional person at that establishment decided to deduct money from my security deposit for something I had no fault in!!!! All of this was done without even having a contract with them, our landlord sold our apartments and Marina Realty took over for new landlord and even then did they manage to rip me off! BEWARE these people are unprofessional and will find any way to take your money!!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PROPERTY! Speaking on Belhalf of another friend who applied to a property online, they did not return phone calls, the attitude of the staff was extremely unpleasant as if they were doing you a favor, 2 people had two different move out dates on the property my friend was interested in and last but not least when they finally got in contact with someone that said they could view it the next day , the next day came and no one on the office had any recollection of the conversation that took place . IT WAS LIKE A TWLIGHT ZONE MOMENT. My friend was literally hurt because after sending in all their personal information, photo ID paystubs, everything necessary, they started to think maybe it was because they we’re not being accepted due to their ethnicity. My friend had a wonderful credit score and a federal government job . I’m writing on behalf of them because this is how discouraging this company can make you feel based on their overall unprofessionalism. My guess is they have people they want in their property and they keep it in the family. IF U DONT GET THIS PROPERTY, keep in mind it’s Not you it’s THEM . Horrible experience ! Do yourself a favor and Dodge this bullet.

I have been renting through the company for a year now. They have a friendly and respectful staff. When something needs to be fixed they have their professional group of people fix it within a timely manner just as any responsible and professional property management business does.

They wouldn’t return my email inquiries. I called them directly about a property to rent and they said it’s already rented. It’s still on all public websites including their management website a week later. I guess they didn’t want to rent to someone with a foreign sounding name. I feel sorry for their owners that contracted them.
