Day 1 moving in a smelled gas (see pic). Manager said 'it's fine' called SoCal gas... it was not the had to do EMG repair. Don't rent here or on York! A lot of 'water bugs' in multiple units. Over 3 years there has been about 5-6 building managers. Currently as of 5/1/2024 there is no manager. Maintenance has 'accidentally' entered my apartment with no permission and triggered my alarm which resulted in having Hawthorne PD come down... For some reason he then turned off my water. There is no way to formally file a complaint... you leave a VM during business hours and then a guy writes notes on it and sends somewhere... I have yet to get a sincere apology. They put a lock on the laundry room to keep out the homeless people that sleep in it then failed to give all tenants keys, I was one of them... The response was "use the laundry room across the street". They just don't care here (possibly overworked and underpaid). The floors were dirty on move in date. Doors had lanlord special paint jobs... Im only writing now because I am fed up

I currently live here! This building is a mess, don’t even think of coming to live here. Nothing gets fixed!!!!!! It is horrible, dirty and disgusting. There is no maintenance, Nobody pays attention to your Unit needs. Management is poor and you’ll keep wasting your money paying rent for no reason.

Lived there for 2 years. Nothing was fixed when requested. When we finally moved out they did not want to return my deposit on the contrary they wanted me to pay $500 when everything was in good condition.
Have not received a call back from management or supervisors.
Wouldn't recommend it.
