Just moved into one of their homes in February. They had a ready by date of 2.14 but then told us they needed another week to clean. We get there a week later and the place is FILTHY smelling like cigs and blunts…
Refrigerator missing shelves, garage doors don’t function, front door is stuck and the screws holding the hinges are short making it a security issue… their maintenance guy seems to want to stop by and look but not actually fix anything. The front door gave out and those short screws came off the hinges…. We have been waiting 3 weeks for longer screws… I can go do it myself but was told if I damage it while repairing I’d be on the hook and also would not be refunded for any expenses. When asked for a follow up call they haven’t made the attempt yet. They are just collecting money from me at this point with no real intention to ensure we are comfortable in their home.

I recently moved into a property managed by this rental company, and my experience has been extremely disappointing. On move-in day, I was assured by one of their maintenance workers that the AC was working fine. However, after he left, I discovered that the AC was not working at all, leaving the house at an unbearable 90 degrees.

To make matters worse, more than 10 windows in the house don’t stay up when opened, causing a serious issue for ventilation and safety. Two of the toilets have leaks, the grass has not been cut, and the front door is practically blocked by overgrown bushes. These are basic issues that should have been addressed before move-in, and it’s completely unacceptable for a new tenant to have to deal with this.

I cannot recommend this rental company to anyone. They clearly do not care about maintaining their properties, and it has been a waste of time and energy trying to get these problems resolved.

This organization is a scam. Listings on their website are not correct. Houses are boarded up & images are photoshopped. A complete waste of my time. I will never rent from this company due to the incorrect listings & inability to get in touch with anyone local regarding their properties.

Do not rent! I was offered a lease renewal with 3 options. Month to month, 1 year at 1640 and 2 year at 1970. The cheapest option was month to month. I signed up for 1585 M2m supposed to start in April 2025. Fast forward to March 31 2025. I go to pay my 1585 and it says 1970! 1970 was the rate for a 2 year lease with them! They did Not send anything to me to confirm this change at all 60 days prior like they are legally supposed to. Today I am still fighting with them to correct their error as I type. I went back and forth with them since last week and they credited a portion of my rent to make the balance what it should be 1585. but then their lease renewal agents keep saying what happened on the back end of things. They tried to tell me that the amount in the offer was wrong.. and that after April they will charge me 1970, that's illegal! regardless if it was that is your error and we have an at will contract meaning you have to by LAW NOTIFY ME OF CHANGES TO MY LEASE TERMS 60 days in advance so I can choose to stay or go and Mainstreet has not done that! Mainstreet property managers do not return phone calls they send an email to you in response to a request for a call. They always say the supervisors are busy and have to call back. They will lock you out of your portal if you are too late. They will quickly add fees to your account automatically until your balance is 0 or eviction process starts because they don't take promise to pays on your rent. If you are too behind on your rent they will add an eviction fee of 650 dollars to your ledger for you to pay to stay! The reps are rude and just repeat the same script over and over like robots. I am consulting with attorneys and if I could I'd give 0 stars

I had a fantastic experience with Chris! He was incredibly professional, efficient, and thorough in fixing everything around the house. Not only did he complete the repairs quickly, but he also took the time to ensure everything was done correctly. I truly appreciate his hard work and dedication!

RUN, SAVE YOUR MONEY‼️ We viewed 2 properties which might I add we had to pay to view. The first property was beautiful & even marketed at 2 months free rent as a special. The second property shouldn’t have ever been listed. The moment we entered you could tell pets had lived in the home. We found multiple urine spots in the carpet, the floors were cracked and some tiles were softer so your foot dipped down when you walked over the area. The home felt disgusting. When we left we decided let’s apply for the first home, our kids would love this. We began the application & entered basic info. We were then promoted to pay $50 before entering income or any additional info. After my husband paid & I paid as a co-leaser we were kicked out of the application & told we were denied. We hadn’t even entered any income verification. When we called they told us it was based on credit (we know our credit sucks which is why we are stuck renting). The website advertised that it’s a collective of factors that they consider (income, credit & criminal history). My husband is a police officer and I’m a teacher, neither of us have a record. We make over 4x what the monthly rent was. When we called they said sorry we run credit first and if you don’t meet that we don’t consider the additional info. They advertise something & don’t operate the way it’s marketed. What a complete scam! Save your money & apply elsewhere. They have NO intentions of moving people in, they just want your money.

Jason. Was an exceptional maintenance employee. He fixed all the items on our list in the same day and explained everything. He showed us how to use the portal and was very polite and friendly. We appreciate his service and time and may he remain safe. The lack of inspection before we moved in to this home is troubling to say the least. Jason was clean and knocked and announced himself each time he entered. Jason had all the materials needed to fix all three items in need of correction.

Moved in less than two weeks ago. Downstairs toilet started overflowing with sewage without any flushing from myself or my family. Just started overflowing. Contacted Mainstreet as soon as I discovered it around 6:30am on Tuesday. They still haven’t had anyone come out to fix the overflowing sewage. It’s Thursday at 6pm. 60 hours later and we still have sewage overflowing into our home.
