After reading the reviews, I decided I just had to make an appointment to set up adding a car to my policy. Joanne was extremely efficient and helpful. When another client described it as ‘having my hand held’ I just knew I wanted that too! In no time my policy was updated, DMV paperwork filled out and printed, not to mention she made the DMV appointment for me right then and there! I don’t think I’ll go online for support again considering the lovely experience, cozy office space and one on one assistance. In todays world where everything seems to be disconnected and automated, it is a miracle to receive such individual connectivity. Thank you.

I cancelled my insurance with Allstate because I was moving. After a few weeks the cancellation hadn’t fully cleared because by law Allstate needed to know that I had new insurance first. Kay called geico FOR ME to get the needed proof while I listened in. That’s old school business principles. I highly recommend.

Not very receptive staff. I have reached out numerous times about the cost of my premium. No help at all. I am on a fixed income and struggling with everyday essentials. I am currently researching other insurance options.

I have used this agency since 2018, and have had nothing but stellar experiences. I initially lived a very short distance away and selected Main Rhode Insurance simply because of it's convenience. Several years ago I moved almost an hour away, but continued to remain a client because of the excellent customer service. Over the years I have purchased, insured, and registered three different vehicles, and literally every single person at this Allstate location has been nothing helpful and friendly. On SEVERAL occasions, the staff has gone above and beyond to assist me. I recently purchased a vehicle out of state and was extremely confused about how to go about getting it insured and registered in RI. I called and was assisted by Kay who went (again!) above and beyond to help me. She answered my 5,000 questions about both the insurance portion and the DMV registration process. If she was unsure of something, she researched to find the answer, and even scheduled my DMV appointment for me! On top of everything, she did it all with a friendly, courteous, positive manner. I had woken up that morning very stressed out about the situation, but was completely at ease after my phone call with Kay. I am so grateful to have Main Rhode Insurance, and would HIGHLY recommend them!

Been an Allstate home and auto customer since we moved to Tiverton RI in 1989. Over the years we’ve been fortunate and have not really “needed” them, but it was always a comfort to know they were there if the time came.

That time came in the form of a broken water pipe in our finished basement. We contact Heather immediately and she got the ball rolling with the corporate property adjuster Jeff. Within days we had a remediation contractor on site who got things dried and cleaned. From there we hired a carpeting contractor for new flooring, and worked with a specialty supplier to repair damage to the insulated wall. Throughout the process our Allstate partners were professional, courteous, responsive and went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. The end result was a like-new living area that we are comfortable in and proud to share with family and friends.

We’ve all heard horror stories of difficulty in dealing with the insurance company that you’ve paid thousands of dollars to over the years but are not responsive when filing a claim. Our dealings with Heather and Allstate couldn’t be further from this scenario: it was as great an experience as it could have been considering the circumstances. As we told Heather, we hope we never see her again (under these circumstances, anyway), but if we do we know we are in “good hands”.

Yesterday and today, I had the pleasure of dealing with Kay Maltz, who also was very helpful in explaining the changes in my policy. Her demeanor was very pleasant and she was very well spoken. Like Heather, she fulfilled my needs by providing me with the information I needed.

I don't typically leave reviews unless I have an extremely good experience or a very bad one, and so I wanted to share my very positive experience with this insurance agency because Heather was so friendly and helpful! I've had some bad experiences with previous insurance agencies who it was difficult to get in touch with or they weren't very informed about the different policy options. My former insurance agent at a different office left and I was automatically switched to this office. I'm so glad I was because Heather was so knowledgeable about a variety of different policy options and took all the time I needed to explain them in detail and answer my many questions. She was very knowledgeable, helpful, and caring throughout the entire process and made sure that I got all the information I was asking for and went above and beyond to give me additional information to help me find the best policy with the best coverage. I'm very thankful for her help and wanted to let everyone know about my great experience. I would highly recommend using this insurance agency!
