I recently moved into this “luxury” apartment. Don’t be deceived by the photos posted on their website or a model unit shown to you at an in-person tour. I drove cross country to take an in-person tour. I was only shown an open unit at the time. I was not shown the unit I was actually getting. The unit I was shown versus what I got was a complete misrepresentation. My unit is filled with mold and absolutely filthy. While the outside grounds of this apartment complex look nice, the inside of the apartments are disgusting (at least the unit I was provided). It has taken weeks of cleaning and many trips to Home Depot for materials to get this place semi livable. See photos of what the place looked like when I moved into the place. The photos speak for themselves. Also, neither the website nor in-person tour indicated it was a possibility the unit I would end up with would have bathroom tubs with frosted doors. The website showcases modern tubs in which shower curtains can be utilized. What I got were tubs with mold and mildew riddled frosted doors. After I moved in, I called, emailed, and spoke with maintenance in person to discuss the multitude of issues. The responses I have received from maintenance and/or the leasing office personnel are (1) “the mold is just how it is in Alabama”, (2) “we don’t usually clean underneath appliances in between tenants”, and (3) “we’ll fix the screens on your porch after the painting on the outside of the building is done.” It’s been three weeks since I’ve moved in and the screens still have not been fixed.

Pros: The apartment is in a good location. Lot of options in terms of apartment sizes and amenities. The area has grown a lot in the last 3 years. Maintenance is top notch. Chavez the lead Maintenance tech does a great job. Property is kept clean. Good Schools and shopping nearby.
Cons: Little pricey. Difficult to get hold of property manager in apartment office at times. Increase in rent between $100 - $150 every year with little room for negotiations. I believe this will get better now that there is going to be 2 more new apartment communities getting constructed this year (2024)

Apartments are nice and grounds are clean. Nolan, Tangela, and Jackson in the office are great. Maintenance is pretty responsive and gets requests done in a timely manner. No complaints!

It’s been such an awesome experience here at your Liberty Park location in Vestavia Hills, AL. I truly love the size of the complex- not too big nor too small.
The qualities that made this everlasting for me was the front office staff (Tangela, Jackson, Lowe, Nolan) and personnel + the amazing maintenance crew. I tell you when you have those two factors working together it makes your living experience so much nicer.
Even when a broken water heater above my apartment caused my bedroom ceiling to leak and had to be repaired + causing replacement of my water heater the on-site maintenance guy, Chevez was on it. He kept me updated with the progress & made sure the additional repairs were made. I can’t say enough about the team. It’s good knowing you have a helping hand available when you need it.
The only thing I suggest is having space for those tenants who have or own large vehicles such as buses to park in a specific location designated for those type of vehicles.
Kudos to the MAA crew at Liberty Park-Vestavia Hills, AL location

This is a wonderful place to live top notch people, and great atmosphere with the amenities being better than any apartment that I have ever lived at.

Lived here for a few months before needing to move due to tough circumstances. The staff there is super friendly and helpful throughout everything. The best thing about this place is that the staff really cares about everyone living there.
Additionally, the property is wonderful and beautiful! Everything is really clean and constantly updated. There are a few smart home devices in the apartments, which makes it even easier to set up more. The surrounding area is also very nice with more stores and restaurants being developed.
Overall, I would highly recommend this apartment complex for anyone looking for a good place to live.

From the moment we turned into the community it felt like home. The grounds, pool and common areas are nicely kept! Tangela was very friendly and welcoming! Plus a perk was how pet friendly the complex was for my fur babies - From a verified resident on ApartmentRatings

We recently had a new job opportunity in the city, and were in need of housing. The location was great, and Low Fletcher- Assistant
Property Manager, was even better!! The grounds were nicely kept, paperless/ tech savvy, and updated. Nice landing spot!
