Warning: Poor Treatment by Lorena Lopez

I've had multiple negative interactions with Lorena Lopez, where she has been consistently rude and disrespectful. Her behavior has made me feel uncomfortable and belittled. It's clear that she targets certain individuals, and I find her actions unprofessional and unacceptable. If you're considering interacting with Lorena Lopez, please be cautious and aware of her behavior. I hope that in the future, she will take steps to improve her treatment of others. Despite my efforts to file a formal complaint and affidavit, I have not seen any meaningful response or resolution to the situation. The behavior and actions of Lorena Lopez have been unacceptable and have caused me significant distress. I hope that my concerns will be taken seriously and that I will receive a prompt response regarding the actions your office will take.

LACDA and EAH are not a stepping stone, it's a tombstone. I was told if I signed a lease and paid rent for a year I would be able to move with my section 8, but I can't move nor can the others who were scammed. We are stuck and they got the money. All I got was sorry you were lied to.

I cannot speak to a human. My advisor will not return phone calls and her vm is not receiving messages. Email no response. I have tried five different numbers without success. I would like to change the banks that my section 8 payment is sent to.

This is sad it's been going on since 2020 I can't get a hold of anybody and it's very upsetting I have so many questions that need to be answered I wish somebody could give me a call or they would answer this phone

Don't speak to your worker, immediately ask for the manager is all I have to say. My worker now has me , 4 times having to get an extension an now for me listening to him again about asking a different office , Kevin had me ask the office in Long Beach if I can transfer , no , he is my worker, he is the one for me to ask. The transfer was only because LA county is always complaining they do not have enough room for all of us, so , I preferred to transfer . His instructions led me to be out of date of my voucher . They tell me to go to my dr on why he thinks I should have the voucher/ extension. It's been over 3 myths, they still have not taken care of this. Why is it we are on a timer but they can take all year+++ to do what they want on American tax dollars an come at us with an attitude, yet, not even know how to answer there phones so I am driving from Long Beach all the way to Alhambra to ask one question that turns into a fued.

But to no avail are they in any way receptive or helping me log into and update my Rental Cafe Portal.
Iam starting to feel a hate crime being forced on me due to my race and ethnicity.

Don't expect any help from anyone here after you ask for fairness or you happen to be on their BLACK OFF" LIST.

STALL YOUR PROCESS TIMES FOR RECERTIFICATION
AND SET YOU UP TO BECOME HOMELESS
THEY CATER TO THOSE(OWNERS)section8 social workers, WHO PAY THEM MONEY TO DO THESE LISTED ACTIONS AGAINST THEIR PARTICIPANTS.
THIS IS A BRIBE AND MAFIA CHAIN OF MANAGEMENT AND LEAD BY AN ELDERLY MAN ( WHO I HAD THIS PERSONAL EXPERIENCE FIRST HAND DOING ALL THESE THINGS LISTED BELOW WITH)NAMED ANTHONY WHO WALKS WITH A LIMP AND WEARS GLASSES WHO IS ASSIGNED TO VISIT YOUR RESIDENCE YOU ARE RENTING ON SECTION 8 AND THEN BLACKLIST YOU BECAUSE OF HIS RANK IN THIS ALHAMBRA OFFICE EVERYONE FOLLOWS HIS ORDERS SECRETLY WITH INITIATIVES .
ONCE HE DECLARED YOU'RE NO MORE IN THEIR SYSTEM( which he did with me on the phone personally,he told me" you are not in our system anymore?"2/25/2024..how's that?) THATS WHEN THEY START THE PROCESS OF CAUSING YOU TROUBLE HEADACHES AND STRESS BECAUSE THEY WILL MAKE SURE YOU EITHER FAIL YOUR UNIT INSPECTION( even though I passed my inspection on 4/11/2024) OR DONT GET RECERTIFIED.(They are not recertifying me and have given me a date back in last of April until second week of May)UNITL NOW MY STATUS IS STILL PENDING IN MY PORTAL ACCOUNT.AND CAROLINA WONT ANSWER MY REPEATED PHONE MESSAGES AND OR EMAILS UP UNTIL NOW.
I AM NOT WHISTLE BLOWING THIS EXCEPT FOR THE MERE FACT IT SADENS ME THIS IS HAPPENING TO POORER INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE REACHING OUT FOR HELP AND WORKING WITH THEM INSTEAD OF BEING OR REMAINING HOMESLESS.

Do not use this housing Authority. I requested to moved out in March, I ended my lease April 30. I clean my apartment. And asked to be ported out. April got the ok to port out through text from case worker. I’m mental disabled. I’ve have explained this to my worker. It is the end of June and I’m out of state cause she ok it. Now I’m getting the run around from my caseworker. On top of all that they’re still paying my old landlord and im not there. They sent me a paper today regarding how much landlord is getting (old address)Someone help me. I don’t know what to do anymore im on the street in another state cause my caseworker is playing with my case. She don’t respond for days or weeks. Says to call her manager if she don’t respond but her manager doesn’t do anything
