I don’t usually leave reviews, but I had to this time. Long story short—Brett Dempsey was AWESOME. As a first-time homebuyer, I had a lot of questions and uncertainty, but Brett was incredibly professional, kind, and helpful throughout the entire process. His communication was excellent—always prompt, clear, and patient, which made a huge difference for me. After a terrible experience with another lender at New American Funding, Brett turned everything around. He not only got us into our home, but also saved us a lot of money. He and his team truly exceeded our expectations. We’re so thankful!

This was my first time ever looking for a company to help with first time home buyers. I submitted my information for a Loan officer to reach out to me. I then got a text from James Hair with his information and link to "get pre-approved" but unfortunately since I dont have good credit which is one of the requirements he stated the next step is to work with their credit specialist Natasha Stewart to help boost my score and remove any bad reports. He provided all her details and since I have a good chunk for a down payment I decided to reach out to her- without thinking to do any research on her since James and Lonestar Financing seemed to be really legit she let me know she can help, that my credit was a easy fix and could get me glowing results after 2-3weeks with a charge of $700. I am only 27 years old and as excited as I am to even look into buying a home and going the right route to get fixed what needs to be done I also decided to ask her whats her business so I can look her up and check out her reviews before sending her money, she automatically questioned me why and that I should had done my research before I messaged her. All I was provided was with screenshots and a slideshow of screenshots of reviews that are old still couldn't provide me a proffessional link or references. This all has been back and forth texting since 8am and it is now 10:30am- not only did her and James Hair made a group chat to harrass me they continue to call me broke and say they dont have time for a "brokey". I will not recommend to even look into this company for any assistance and I am glad I never sent any money to "successful", "high FICO scores" people who are so disrespectful.

James I great I've been working with him for awhile yes on our side we had some downers but he was quick to act and told us to get with his credit repair lady and OMG it was fast and she is damn good got my wife's credit up and im glad to say today is the day that we are getting our numbers so we can get our new house bought. James has been an absolute blessing! we grew up in the same neighborhood and had no idea where to start, so I called James. He has walked me through every step of the process! Being that I’m moving from out of state, he even connected me with a realtor who was able to show me homes remotely! Im a first time home buyer and James was able to connect me with a program to assist me with my down payment and my closing cost. He answers every call and every text! I also really appreciate that the pre approval was no impact to your credit score, it gave me more confidence to apply. James emailed me a link to a website that was free that gave me the report, but also allowed me to simulate my score with different scenarios. We were able to complete one of those plans and my credit score went up 60+ points, and qualified me for a much better rate. I highly recommend James if you are looking for a mortgage. He’s relatable, easy to work with, and TRUSTWORTHY! 10/10
