What a cool little place to visit. The boy scout HQ there with the eagle wall was super cool...eagle scout for life. The statute of liberty was a nice added touch too. It's a 1/5 size but still very moving.

When we saw the Statue of Liberty Replica from I-459 it caught our interest. We were able to take a photo from the side of the interstate but could tell there was more. Fortunately we took the short drive to see the park. A great replica statue made of bronze and a wonderful scouting memorial dedicated to the Eagle Scouts. A great park to visit.

I really liked the Memory wall with all of the Eagle Scout names. The grounds were very maintained. Around the statue is closed off, so you can't get very close. The statue is 1/5 the size of our Lady Liberty, but very beautiful! Not far of the interstate, a must see if passing through. The shop wasn't opened when I went and I was the only person there. Very peaceful and surreal.

You can see the statue from the interstate but it is definitely worth the short drive to it. There is ample parking there. I saw some others report that the gate to the statue itself was closed when they were there, but it was open when I went by. You could walk right up to the base of it. An extra bonus is the Eagle Scout Plaza. It has walls and walls of the names of those who have earned the rank of Eagle Scout in Alabama.

Really cool place, not sure if it's fuzz kid friendly, but we checked it out and I didn't see any signs with restrictions.
Had the place to ourselves, ventured up some steep hills and found some shaded wooded areas.
Good for a 1 time stop.

20230329 I drove by this Statue Of Liberty twice and didn't think to look up its actual location until I left AL. What an amazing view from the highway! Too bad I missed this park!!

It was nice to see the SOL replica. Only thing is that to get a good picture of the front you have to go on the road while in traffic

Great place for a quick visit. Park was built by the Liberty Insurance Company and is co-located with the Boy Scout office.
