I used Liberty Group Funding to get a 203k mortgage for a foreclosure me and my wife wanted to buy. Since my wife wasnt working at the time, I just started a new job, and we were away on the day of closing, it turned up to be a very dufficult deal to close and at times we were convinced that we will lose the house and our earnest money. The only reason it didn't happen is John from the Libery Group who literally did his work, the work of the realtor and of the title company (which was horrible) all together. Equally important, he was alway available, always calm and incredibly resourceful.
This is the 3rd house we bought using different mortgage brokers and John is, without any doubt, the most professional broker we ever worked with.

Liberty Group Funding is the best! This was our second mortgage and we knew it was going to be tougher than the first time because we are self employed. We ran into quite a few speed bumps along the way, and I honestly believe we wouldn't have the house today if we hadn't had a mortgage broker that hadn't been willing to fight so hard for us. We bought a foreclosed home using an FHA 203K mortgage and were lucky to have John and Liberty Group Funding as our mortgage broker. The mortgage process got even more complicated than a normal 203K application since our title agency was awful and piled obstacles that risked our ability to close on time, the seller refused to give us an extension and we were out of town during closing.
John is the main reason we got the house. He did everything; talking to contractors, closers and realtors and even finding a lawyer that can finalize the closing and send the documents to the title agency. At any point when the process got stuck John was there to move it forward. We ended up closing on the last minute, mostly thanks to John's ability to address ridiculous, last minute demands by the title agency. Throughout the process he provided both professional and personal support and was always available and great to talk to.
This is our third house and he is definitely the most professional broker we worked with. I highly recommend him and will definitely use him for any future purchases.
