I recently purchased a home in this community everyone was nice throughout the closing process . Had a few delays 1 being that I’m using my VA home loan and the house was over priced based on the appraisal
And they had to drop the price . Closing day finally came went through orientation there were repairs and touch ups needed the house was cleaned poorly . The builder Brad reassured me that they would get the repairs done and he maintained a copy of my house key that 7/19/23 and of today I have not even been able to move into my home and the repairs and cleaning still have not been completed. I attempted to call Brad and text I’ve gotten no response. When I come to the office the builders are off site for training. Attempted to get my wifi set up which is fiber and the builders had the conduit kinked so they had to drill more holes to bypass running it the way it’s suppose to be ran . I reached out to Stephanie who reassured me that she would get her manager involved and he would call me and that has not been done yet . They make all these promises and make thousands off of you . And I have not been the only house in the new community with all of these issues . They are still building but I would tell all other Veterans be mindful when using your VA home loan here they will over price the homes until the VA appraiser comes and it’s priced 5k-10k over actual value . The amount of deception that goes on with the staff here I could never recommend them to anyone I care about . How do you sale a dirty home dead bugs inside from doors being left open , red clay on baseboards , bad paint , red clay splashed on walls , ceilings in the garage , , possible water damage in garage, broken brackets on shelves , big yellow stain in tub that they told me they would just spray the whole tub but instead they tried scrape the stain out and damaged the tub pictures will also be attached

Drove almost 30 minutes to take a look at the neighborhood. I’ve been to several new construction communities across the Carolinas & they all have a model home for you to walk through. The man I spoke to told me there was no model. I asked if I could walk through a completed home & was told that I couldn’t do that until we sat down & discussed mortgage qualifications & ran credit. This is highly unusual & was such a turn off that I completely lost interest in the community & left. Why would I let you run my credit, which would decrease my score before even seeing the inside of a home to know if I’m interested? Just want others to know what to expect to avoid wasting time like I did. Feels like they have something to hide. I’ve heard bad things about the integrity of LGI as a builder, concerning how they treat realtors for their commission & the integrity of their builds. Please do your research.
