The quality of Lennar has to be the absolute worst. Customer service is nonexistent. Communication LOL. Buying a Lennar home has been a real life nightmare. Every day we find something else wrong with this extremely poorly built ā€œhomeā€. I wish I read these reviews before purchasing a home with Lennar. The day we signed and closed on our home, it wasn’t ready. Literally unlivable. No CO had been issued but they had us sign closing documents and told us it would be ready. No communication from our sales rep Robert. Robert placed blame on our construction manager. If ANYONE would of just been honest and let us know our home wasn’t ready it would of saved us a lot of extra expenses and stress. We’ve been in this house for 6 weeks still patiently waiting for work to be done. Our kitchen isn’t fully functional because cabinets were cracked and broken during installation. Our stove couldn’t fit in between the cabinets and was sticking out for 3 weeks. Someone came out and easy pulled the granite up because it wasn’t glued to any thing and was able to slide the stove in. The granite is just sitting there unglued wobbling on a cracked cabinet I’ve been told can’t be replaced for three months. Our list of things that need to be done is too long to put in this review. I have reached out the Lennar customer service, NEVER heard anything back. We have had meetings with the construction manager and area sales manager. That was 3 weeks ago and nothing has changed. No work done. Just found out my hot water heater needs to be replaced just another item on our extremely long list.

I decided to buy a house with this builder in February / 2022, from the beginning I only received a terrible treatment and the lack of ethics and professionalism were present at all times, since I wanted to buy my house I continued in the process since I did not want to stop for that , I thought "Everything will be fine, then everything will be better", which never happened, everything got worse as time passed, the sales representative Jeannette Beltran only called me twice rushing me if I was interested in buying a house that a few days before they had cancelled, their bad service, their lack of ethics and respect towards the client never lacked, even so I decided to continue, in the construction process I found numerous problems and they always gave me an excuse, wet and careless materials, broken parts, the framing had problems that I do not understand how it passed an inspection, you can see in the images that you will see here, I hired a private inspector and they canceled the appointment I had to carry out an inspection Inspection before the installation of the drywall, just the day that the appointment was scheduled, all the drywall was in place and the inspection could not be carried out, all the problems had been covered so that the inspector could not do his job. I closed the house at the end of June / 2022 and I still have pending problems which I am struggling to fix and they do not give me an answer. The A/C is completely unbalanced, when the second floor reaches 70 degrees F on the first floor I only get about 80 degrees F, a huge difference and it's because they didn't install enough ductwork on the first floor and they didn't install returns. I know it's my fault for not canceling the whole process, I'm just showing you what you will be exposed to if you decide to buy in this community. The images will show you the final product that will be delivered, they are only interested in selling the house regardless of its quality. I hope not many have had the same luck that I had.

Stop building these garbage built HOA homes. No one on the east side of Lakeland can afford 300k homes made by cheep cardboard. You guys literally built "homes" on swamp and forestry. Hope yall didn't forget what Coyotes will do to you're pets or children. You're building in thier homes.

I have left a review before and it seems the ONLY way to get any type of response from Lennar. They don’t seem to care about their homeowners once you close. These ā€œhomesā€ are built with such carelessness. Please do your research before considering a home with Lennar. My family and I have been in my home less than 4 months. It’s next to impossible to get Lennar to fix the issues that they created in the first place. Last night I had what seems to be termites coming out of my kitchen ceiling. It was such a defeating feeling seeing these bugs coming out of the ceiling after all the other issues we have had with Lennar. Here are some more pictures of their craftsmanship along with a picture of whatever is living inside of my walls.

My husband and I moved into a new home about a month and a half ago in the Saddle Creek community. While we love our new home and appreciate the hard work it took to build it, we feel it necessary to speak up about some of the quality issues that have been extremely frustrating.

In our estimation, we have been pretty patient in waiting for some of the issues to be fixed but they remain outstanding.
For example, during our new home orientation, we were promised the grout haze that was all over the tile floors would be given a final cleaning prior to moving in. It was not and the CM told us after we moved in that it was ā€œconstruction grade cleanā€. My husband and I stayed up multiple nights well past midnight trying to scrub out the grout haze which practically covers most of the tiles in the house but to no avail. We opened a warranty ticket since it needed professional cleaning and we weren’t going to spend hundreds of dollars on something we were promised would be taken care of by Lennar. For perspective, the house is two stories and ~2,500 square feet with the entire bottom floor being tile along with the bathrooms and laundry room upstairs. When the tile cleaning company came by, they said it’s going to to take at least a 3 person team and heavier equipment because it was so bad.

Moreover, every time it rains, the sliding glass door has water on the inside track. When speaking to Lennar’s warranty team, they tried to tell us that it’s somehow normal to get water in the house. I told them it’s not and they sent someone out to fix but it’s not fixed.

There have been other examples like this (e.g.:house not caulked properly, sizable amounts of weather stripping missing on parts of the front door which caused a big bug problem where we paid out of pocket to address, etc.) but in both of these instances, we have been waiting to hear how these things will be remedied even after following up with Lennar’s warranty team.

We gave careful thought before posting this since we normally wouldn’t but we feel it’s unfair for a newly constructed home to be missing these types of quality checks given the amount of money and now additional time to clean and fix a lot of simple misses that could have been proactively handled. To Lennar’s credit, there are no mechanical or structural issues thankfully and it may seem like small things we’ve mentioned but when you pay for a new construction home and have 3 kids ages 4 and under, you want things to be move in ready since that’s what you paid for and were sold on. We are really disappointed in Lennar and were expecting better from them.

Process was smooth and everything was done perfectly by the time we needed. Wonderful experience, with great people and it is a beautiful home. We couldn't be happier. Our whole experience has been great. Step by step throughout we knew what to expect and had consistent communication. The follow up on any concerns has been almost immediately. The materials and craftsmanship are fine, but this isn’t a high end home. We definitely have the value we paid for and we love our house.

It's absolutely DISGUSTING! the construction workers leave their trash ALL OVER THE PLACE.

Not only do they leave trash all over the place, they play their music really loud and block the roads.

Our home buying experience has been nothing but a nightmare with Lennar. We used Lennar Mortgage and Lennar Title because it was supposed to make for seamless communication and make the entire process that much easier. Communication was non existent. Nobody knew what day we were actually closing because they did not talk to each other and I had to correct each of them individually. Not only that, but I tried to communicate with our closer at the title company using Lennar track which is their portal, and never got an answer. So I called but the phone number listed in their portal was not the right number. The loan officer was an insufferable idiot who I literally dressed taking to. He made mistake after mistake and always blamed it on his team. What a team leader! Every time someone made a mistake or something went wrong they would all point blame at someone else. Never an apology, never any accountability. Lennar loves to use the excuse of "oh he's new, so he doesn't know what he's talking about". So unprofessional! We moved from across the country and Lennar forced us to close 6 weeks early because they wanted to close as many houses as possible before the end of their quarter. They literally told my agent that! What kind of company is this?!?! This worried me because it felt like they were just gonna throw the house together. Which they did! I'm glad I didn't listen to them and do our walk through remotely, which they tried to push hard for. Luckily we had family in the area and we hired an inspector to do the walk through for us. So many issues were found. I seriously contemplated walking away but Lennar likes to make that hard by holding your earnest money themselves, instead of having an impartial third party like the title company hold it. So we would have lost over $20k, which I just couldn't do. This is also so unethical in my opinion!! When we finally got there on closing day, nobody was there to do the final walkthrough and the house was literally filthy! Paint on the carpets everywhere, dirty shoe prints on the floor, dirty hand prints on the walls, water just trickling out of the kitchen sink, dead bugs everywhere, metal shards in the carpets, and paint splatter ON EVERYTHING, EVERYWHERE!!! They tried to tell us it had been professionally cleaned, apparently they were hoping we were blind?! We had to pay to stay in a hotel with our kids, dog and our u-haul because I refused to sign off on the house until it was livable. This is not the first new construction house we have purchased, but it is the first Lennar house we have purchased, and it will be the last! When you buy a brand new house it needs to be perfect when you move in. I was told by one of the construction managers that I was being too picky. I told him he wouldn't like it if one of my kids got a metal shard stuck in their feet and I sued them! He just walked out like the big baby he was! We have been in the house for a few months now and are still finding issues. Do NOT buy a Lennar home or use their other companies. There is no accountability and all they care about us throwing up houses as fast as they possibly can. Also the construction workers leave garbage everywhere! I have to clean up their lunch trash almost every single day.
