We have lived in our house for almost 2 years and we're blessed to have found a 5/3 that fit our family perfectly. We moved in after an extensive private inspection, so we knew we didn't have any red flags to contend with. We had little issues, but nothing that wasn't covered and understood by our inspector. Everything was passed on to the builder and they made all the adjustments. We then went through the same process at the one year mark. The neighborhood is wonderful. The neighbors are welcoming and we've made some really wonderful friends. The Facebook page keeps everyone connected and we have different community building events all the time. There are small annoyances like in every neighborhood, but the pros definitely outweigh the cons. It's a great place to live.

I signed the first contract in what seemed to be a future for my family, and have been living a nightmare ever since. For 3 years I have been watching pieces of my house fall apart. We were lied to in the beginning on how many houses were being put in the development and I was also told there wouldn’t be any 5 bedrooms in this development. The builder asked me to leave a review after closing and in return I would receive a gift card. Haven’t seen it yet. First year, door knobs fell off of almost every door. Ton of gaps and spaces in garage. Which has caused mice problems for most of our neighborhood. The amount of problems in our facebook neighborhood group chat is uncountable. When we moved in our dishwasher did not work, the builder switched them out with another one from a vacant home. The second one didn’t work either. We’ve spent so much money on what should’ve been up to par upon buying our home. The brand new stove that came with it oven went out the first year. This happened to a couple of us. Black mold and mushrooms in the bathrooms within a couple of months. Just the other day I opened my cabinet door and the whole cabinet fell apart. Hoa is terrible to reach. They decide to keep building and block the only entrance for traffic to go through with work trucks. Making it hard for residents and busses to pass through. They give us no warning just a wake up call with excessive noise from 5 am until whenever. After storm Helene all of our shingles were falling off and flapping up, as well as neighbors. This has been a nightmare. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. I have ton of pictures for anyone who would like to see. I had family over for after the storm who have been without power for over a week. Parked at the office and was threatened to be towed because they are still trying to sell these houses instead of fixing ours. They only want your money. Spend it more wisely.

My family and I purchased our home in November and couldn't be happier! We worked with Helicio throughout the process. He gave us constant updates and always went above and beyond to get us answers. I've lived in Lenhardt Grove for two months now. Everyone has been very nice and helpful. Unfortunately I was having an issue with an appliance and getting it fixed by the appliance company but then I got a call from Carl with DR Horton and after expressing my concerns to him he is helping me get it replaced. DR Horton has done right by my family so far and I am very grateful.

I could not be more pleased with the staff at DR Horton Express. My husband and I were able to find our dream home quickly and efficiently. Both our selling agent Helcio Cardoso and our building Superintendent Chad were phenomenal in the buying and closing process.
