Don’t ever get a house or an apartment from Lake City Housing Authority. They is trying to evict me and my mother because of something that they were supposed to handle, and never handled the situation. you can’t evict people when it’s supposed to be a 30 day thing. They will complain about cereal boxes on top of a refrigerator, a smoke detector that has been going off by itself in the middle of the night and we been told them about it and they never gave us a new one, I didn’t have a smoke detector in my room for 4-5 years, etc..they will come to the house without sending a letter saying they was going to inspect the house. also they be asking me too many questions about my mother who is sick and goes to dialysis. we have a rodent problem and they would lie and say they know the pest control people comes over here but they haven’t been here for a year. they would tell my mother they not trying to make it as a racist thing but they would talk shit to you and be racist about anything.

My visit at Lake City Housing Authority went very well. All the information I needed to know I was able to obtain. Special thanks to Mr. McNeil and all of the Section 8 Housing Team that assist me on my business matters. But also, the whole entire staff of Lake City Authority we greatly appreciate you for all assistance to residents that is in desperate for housing. May GOD bless each and every one of you. I just want my air fixed and I can’t get it fixed. Every time they come it’s always a patch up work and 3-4 weeks later my unit is back blowing out hot air. But they want they money every month on time. I just want my air fixed and I have no other complaints until then I’m very unsatisfied living here. They already boost my rent up an extra 210. But I didn’t complain, I just want my air fixed and I will find every number I have to until I get some one who is the head of this company.

UPDATE "BEWARE" Terrible don't move here they have rodents!!!! The Lake City Housing Authority doesn't care about their tenants. They wouldn't replace my stove or come repair the stove I had, they always had an excuse saying the stove were put on back order, I waited months still nothing was done.I don't recommend Lake City Housing Authority!!!!👎👎 My review aren't fake or spam so I don't understand why my other review has been deleted............

Not a safe place at all. I would tell you to drive through here on a Friday night to see for yourself, but I wouldn't want you in the danger you would be in. Stay away.
