Loved my stay with 3 other girls. Gives a dorm atmosphere, but you get personal space due to having your own bedroom. Very nice space though! Great common spaces for meeting others and within walking distance of the north end of campus. Would love to see accountability with the security deposit regarding common space. However, Lynn very is communicable and accommodating. Thank you Lake Area Suites!

Great place to live for someone right out of high school. Walking distance to the college is very convenient if you don't want to buy a parking pass. Lynn and Kate Jurrens are great landlords and are available if you have any questions at all! There is coin laundry on site and underground parking. It's also nice that there is a set price for rent and you don't have to worry about your roommates not paying. You get to choose between a 10 or 12 month lease, which is nice. Overall, great place to live for someone starting to live on there own!

I couldn't have gotten a better place to stay for college. It's right next to the school and just a mile or so from the gym. Lynn is an awesome guy to work with and really took care of things here. He always looked out for us. He's professional as well as friendly.

My brother went to college here a few years ago and stayed at the Lake Area Suites. Once I graduated I knew that I would be living here too. It felt like a home and a community and I truly loved my time here.

I can't recommend this place enough. If you're just starting out after highschool it's a great place to learn how to live on your own.

Great first place to live for someone right out of high school. Good facilities, great location being within walking distance of the college and track right beside it, coin laundry on site, and great set price for rent! The idea of having a set rent price without having to worry about roommates leaving you is awesome ($420 or $460 per month depending on your lease). Landlords are very helpful and understanding of events that come up. I strongly recommend this place for being a first spot to learn how to grow on your own.

I couldn’t think of a better place to live for my first two years out on my own! Kate and Lynn have been nothing but the best landlords! The apartments are so homey and make you feel so comfortable even with all the stress of being a full time student. I have met many new people and highly recommend living in the lake area suites! It’s a great place to learn how to live on your own!

The only good thing I can say about this place is that it is close to campus. The landlord is very rude. They don't address anything that needs to be fixed even after being brought up to them. They break state law to take part of the Security deposit because a common area that is still being lived in is dirty months after you leave. Also they do not let you do a proper check in when you move in. This is something that every landlord should do. The apartment was dirtier in August when I moved in then when I moved out.

The apartments are great for college if you're going to lati. Landlord is nice and are understanding about any problems going on with the apartment. The only problem I had is after we left. Wants my roommate to pay a lot for a damage door that my roommate could easily replace himself for cheaper. And wants me and my roommate who left earlier then third roommate to pay cleaning fee even tho we cleaned before we left four or five days before the third roommate and yet the third roommate who stayed there longer doesn't have to. If you leave make sure all three of you leave at the same time and apparently hire a cleaning agent

The place is conveniently close to the college so you do not need to drive to classes, it is a reasonable set price. Landlords are hard to reach at times and seem like they do not care about their tenants or tenants concerns/problems. Also don’t plan on getting your deposit back after cleaning the entire shared rooms and personal room. Might as well save money on buying cleaning materials and not waste your time.
