I had a great experience with L&M Public Adjusters. This was my first home insurance claim ever and I had no idea what I was doing. Our furnace had a puff back which caused black soot damage all over my 2 family home. The insurance company first told me they would pay for it to be cleaned, and when we had a disaster restoration company come in, they found the damage went behind the walls and into all the insulation. The insurance company basically said no way we are going to remove and replace walls and ceilings etc. THANKFULLY we contacted John Mullaney from L&M and he was able to be my voice throughout the entire ordeal. I literally didn’t have to talk to the insurance company. He has so much experience with the legal language of claims, explained the process, and helped me to get the job fixed correctly! We ended up having a full gut renovation, all the damage was fixed and it’s a whole new house. The insurance started negotiating around $120,000 for the job and John was able to negotiate them up to $215,000 for the renovation. They also went through every inch of the house and negotiated personal property damage that I didn’t even know I could get. The team communicated very well, they are professional and very nice! I highly recommend them!
