This cottage is absolutely darling!!! We loved the decor, the beds were super comfy and the kitchen was well appointed. Giant kitchen island was great! It was both spacious and cozy at the same time. Completely renovated, gorgeous furnishings and hardwood floors. Great showers in both bathrooms with great water pressure. A short walk to the beach was an added plus. Surrounded by some of the islands most gorgeous properties, it was fun to explore by bike and on foot. The vasasa staff were extremely responsive and helpful. The cottage was immaculate! Super clean and comfy, we can’t wait to go back! The beds were so comfortable we slept in a little longer each morning. Loved all the cozy seating areas within the cottage. Very light and airy with the open floor plan, abundant widows and skylights. Absolutely loved every aspect of our vacation at this darling accommodation. Thanks for the wonderful trip spent in this beautiful home.

Beautiful Beach House
This home was clean and was exactly like the pictures and disruption show. This home would comfortably sleep 7 with plenty of sitting areas both inside and out. The loft has a day bed, and the best view of the ocean in the house. The home has a stocked kitchen for cooking and a stash of beach toys for the kids. Private beach access on a quiet street within plenty of shopping and entertainment with 15 mins.

We absolutely loved the view from the screen porch and the master bedroom. The property is in a great location. You can walk to the beach if you want or drive if you want to drive and park. It was very convenient to both Folly Beach and Charleston. My grandson loved watching the boats in the marina and one day we even saw a dolphin. It was the perfect size condo for my family of 5 adults and 1 child.

In July 2024, I rented this beautiful home in Kiawah called Marsh hawk Lane. The views were STUNNING! The layout was amazing! We enjoyed the house, but it was not without issues. I left a long review with Vacasa after my stay, but they filtered it out as they only show the best reviews on their website. First off, when you arrive, Vacasa will send a text asking if the home is clean. We responded yes, because at first glance it was, and I think we were just in awe of the view! However, after taking off our shoes we noticed sand and dirt all over the floor. Once we put up groceries, we found old food left in the fridge (half eaten chicken), the mat in front of the kitchen sink was dirty and sticky (something was spilled on it) and the dishwasher was full and had to be emptied. The master shower drains super slow, so a long shower isn’t an option or it will overflow. The home has roaches and one crawled across me in the bed (see photo) the master closet is so humid that it left our clothes damp. There is a Juliette balcony off the master, but it’s not safe to stand on (you can literally see it falling) and needs to be repaired. This is a safety issue for sure! The dining room chairs are all stained and in need of cleaning. There is one very comfortable chair in the living room that we all took turns with. The sofas sit very low to the ground and are not comfortable to lay on at all. We spent our time just sitting at the dining table because of this. As far as Kiawah goes, we had to pay $15 a day to go to the beach as there is no access to the beach by car. All access is via bike or walking. My husband is disabled, and this wasn’t an option for him, so $15 x 5 days added up quicky! There is a pretty noticeable lack of diversity there too. It is what it is, but while in Freshields Village (a super cute shopping area) we were met continual stares (I have an interracial family). We’re used to it and it doesn’t other us, but it’s worth mentioning so that others aren’t surprised. So, would I go back to this home again? I would. Would I rent it through Vacasa, if it was my only option? No, because of the lack of response to my initial review, the fact that we arrived to a dirty home, and the fact that they only show the better reviews which is misleading, dishonest, and bad customer service. Every review is important and listening to my concerns will make the home better for the next person (if you actually went in the home to confirm my review and make sure things were addressed before the next rental). I do hope they didn’t ignore my review and did go in and address the issues and just didn’t respond to me. People work hard for their money and there is nothing wrong with expecting good customer service and, if nothing else, a home that has been fully cleaned when you arrive.

This rental beach house was called the MarshMallow.
Really loved the layout of the dining room, living room, and kitchen. We were a party of 10 and could spread out and still talk to each other or have some me time on either of the outside decks. The ocean view was small but still could see it between the other buildings. The marsh view was fantastic to see the sunsets. We liked how easy it was to access the beach right across from the house. The older kids had a great time fishing off the dock out by the marsh. We even had a fire pit and enjoyed sitting around the fire at night. One evening we ran out of propane for the gas grill and texted the number on the paperwork and a new tank was delivered that next morning. Plenty of pots and pans and dishes for us all. The house was very clean when we arrived. Wifi worked excellent. Our next trip back we will definitely choose this beach house.

This condo is in the heart of Folly Beach where you can sit on the porch and see the ocean, plus the bustling beach-goers. Right next door to Taco Boy (a must visit), it is located near to beach access, restaurants, shopping, etc. The accommodations are perfect -- 2 separate bedrooms with their own bathrooms. Everything is clean and fresh! Highly recommend!

Pavillion watch
The view was excellent. The location was within walking distance of several eating establishments. The place was clean and decorated nicely. On the first day the ice maker was not working but we had a fast response to our text and a solution. Would definitely stay there again.
