Applied to rent a house just to see it turned out to be for sale. Very unprofessional and unorganized. Do Not do business with them!

I feel that Kappel & Kappel is a total rip off. They listed a house for rent, advertising the supposed one and only day for viewing and applying. When I arrived to view there were about 7 - 10 other families there. Two reps from the property management who didnt greet us or show us the house..when inquring about applying in person she told us where the office was located and proceeded to say she's only accepting applications this day only and she mentioned how surprised she was at the turnout since she was expecting many more people.(more people to scam) I went to the office and was told that they didnt have paper applications and to apply online. I mentioned I had some identity mix up in my credit, and I was told there were already applicants who had applied that have perfect credit. The showing for this house started at 4pm and I was one of the first to arrive and the first to leave..i arrived at their office no later than 4:30pm..my question is why are you still accepting all of the new applicants and asking for $25 credit check fee from each one when most likely you already know who you're renting the house too? And why were you telling people they could not apply until the date of showing? So when did these applicants with "perfect credit" apply? Certainly not after 4pm on the day of showing otherwise you wouldn't already know their credit situation within 30min. I feel like all the people who came to view this house and applied paying $25 were basically robbed by Kappel & Kappel. There needs to be laws regulating how property managements and corrupt Landlords do business with potential renters, especially when some such as Kappel & Kappel display such unethical business practices. SMH

This place is prejudice. They charge 35 dollars for each application I paid 120 just to be denied. No evictions, household income was more than 3x the rent. Please don’t waste your time at this place

My husband and I are in the military and we’ve been driving to our new base for about three days. We decided we would settle in Vacaville and attempted to rent a house through kappel and kappel. When we arrived We already had a place in mind, but the person who came to show us the house didn’t seem to care at all. She didn’t give us any history on the house, she didn’t show us around, she really didn’t say too much at all and when we were done looking around she didn’t even ask us if we wanted to get the house she just left. Terrible customer service I’m not sastisfied at all.

Michelle Rodriguez is the worst. This place is really full of liars .
Please don’t waste your time and money with these people.
Worst customer care, horrible dealing, extremely rude and will never give you your full refund. I’ll will write more about this place on every platform.
