First of all, I believe in seeking God’s guidance in all my financial decisions. Given my unique and complicated financial situation, I had previously gone through several processes with other lenders, which negatively impacted my credit score.

At one point, I decided to step back from borrowing for a garage conversion to an ADU and planned to use my savings instead.
