Lilith Berko is horrible. She offered a property tenant occupied to be delivered vacant.
Also believe that she knew at listing tenants and seller were both in the Section 8 program and did not disclose that to us. She definitely knew prior to close and did not tell us.
We closed escrow March 18 and as of today, May 9 are unable to occupy our home.
I can’t fathom how you put your name on the listing to be delivered vacant when you did not verify that the vacate notice was given from seller to tenant. We found out April 20 well after our close and schedule move-in date that no notice was given by the seller. (Seller must provide tenant w at least 60 notice to vacate).Our agent nor Lilith verify themselves before promising and listing the home to be delivered vacant.
We have sent multiple unanswered e mails to her and CEO Harout at JohnHart. They don’t even acknowledge our emails or concerns.
In our transaction, She was/is very deceiving, dishonest and untruthful.
We had a feeling the tenants were not told property was sold and found out later that she told our now tenants not to contact us after we sent a letter to the property, informing them that the home was sold. So not only did they tell us this was the first time knowing the home was sold, but also that Lilith told them it is “illegal for them to contact us and don’t call us”, even though this was the reason for letter and we asked them too call us.
We still don’t have keys to the house and we closed 3/18 it’s 5/9 today.
