We recently sold our home of 15+ years in Lake Arrowhead with Jim Newcomb as our selling agent. We first met with Jim several months before deciding to list the home. Jim was very patient and not pushy at all about becoming the selling agent. He looked carefully around the home and gave us helpful advice about improvements we might like to make before putting the home on the market, and then told us that there was no rush to sign a contract or list the home. At one point, we felt that maybe we would keep the home as a vacation place and we told Jim we were rethinking our decision to put the house on the market. He was very supportive and told us that was not a problem and if we decided to move forward later we could contact him again if we were still interested in working with him. A month or so later, we decided that we did indeed want to sell the home. Jim gave us very thorough comps and suggested a selling price which we felt was very fair and appropriate for the home and the current market. Throughout the entire sales process Jim was readily available to answer any questions we had and kept us updated the entire time. Since we were no longer in the area when the home went on the market, he was very conscientious about checking on the home after each showing to be sure that all lights were turned off and the home was locked up securely. When we did receive an offer on the home, Jim was an excellent representative for us in working with the buyers and negotiating the final selling price. It truly was a privilege to work with Jim and we would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking to buy or sell a property in the Lake Arrowhead area.
