I enjoyed living at one of Jim Mayhall's Properties for about 2 1/2 years. Very nice, understanding people that will work with you. Reasonable rent prices and I was able to keep deposit since I kept the house very clean. Take care of their houses and there are no issues!

I've appreciated the family owned atmosphere (so hard to find a non corporate rental entity who still functions to an acceptable standard) since before I even began renting from the Mayhalls. Showed me the house I was interested in and several others in comparable price range with no pressure and an open discussion about my needs and what they offered. They've taken care of any issues I've come across promptly and always make sure to ask if there's anything else they can do to meet my expectations. Good people.

I couldn't let another day pass and not say how blessed my family and I have been to know the Mayhall family! I'm offended by the "racism still alive in Alabama folks" comment. Every family member I've met or had to deal with has treated my family as if we were family and we are definitely not the same race. I've never felt, in any instance, that they see color. Misrepresentation indeed, but everyone's entitled...

It has almost been 2 years since we moved to Huntsville and were recommended by friends to seek out this rental agency. From a renters point of view, they have bent over backwards to accommodate us, even putting themselves in my disabled husbands place and providing us with more than we could ask.

My fiancé and I applied. We were originally given an approval and then told 2 hours later that we were denied due to an eviction. I provided a case document with a judge’s signature showing that I did not have an eviction none whatsoever. We met income requirements, rental history amazing, and clean backgrounds. We were told we were denied a second time because I wasn’t working and my fiancé had only been on his job for 7 months. He has been working his job for 4+ years, he changed positions 7 months ago, and never in my life have I heard that both applicants have to be working, long as together the two of you meet the income requirements. There are stay at home moms all over the world, and the husband is the provider so my status shouldn’t have mattered because he met income requirements alone. They pick and choose based off your appearance and ethnicity. Everything was going perfect until they seen our black faces. DO NOT attempt to rent from these people!

I have rented from mayhall for a little over a year and all I can say is good things about the mayhall family and staff they made any repairs needed within a reasonable time frame. I have recommended mayhall rental properties to a number of my own family who now also rents from them.

I have lived in Jim Mayhalls rental on 2 different occasions and couldn't ask for a better lanlord, he fixed thing very quickly if not the same day mostly and was understanding if I was a little late on rent, he will work with everyone situation. His homes are in good shape and I he would be the first person I would call if I neesed a place to rent and Highly recommend Jim Mayhall as a landlord for anyone.

Great landlord! Wonderful office personnel. Maintenance crew is helpful and nice. Almost always quick to get you what you need, understanding when life happens, and very knowledgeable about the area(we moved in from 700 miles away and no prior knowledge!) All around great company to rent from.
