Have you ever had to get through something you just didn’t want to do? That’s what I recently experienced. My husband unexpectedly passed away and after a year alone in our home I decided it was best for me to move closer to family. Logically I knew it was the right thing to do, but just wished differently. It’s called life and sometimes life gets “lifey” on us.

Jet Eddy was initially recommended to me by her sister. I realize families should do that, but when I ran her name by several friends, one of my neighbors, a past business associate, and a random HVAC technician around the corner from me, and all having very positive responses about her, I decided to meet her.

Jet came by the same day I called. She reviewed my home, made recommendations, took information to provide me with comps, and went over the basic seller / agent relationship. I wasn’t ready to sign on the dotted line yet, in fact that wouldn’t happen for another 5 months. In that time, she never once pressured me to sign or make any decisions I wasn’t ready for. She realized this move was not something I planned for; it was something I just had to get through.

Earlier this year I signed the contract to list my home. I was already touched by Jets kind compassion and patience as a person but now as she guided me through the process of reviewing offers and closing details, her knowledge and experience in real estate just shined. With her help I was able to get the price I wanted for my home and close with only minor hiccups, of which she handled very efficiently.
