First of all, Charlene and Dan are the ONLY realtors you need. Forever. We were so lucky to have found Charlene at an open house last year and knew that we wanted her to be in charge of putting us in our very first house. The responsiveness, the information, the questions you don’t know how to ask… They have it all. We started looking in South Bay and after showing us so many different types of houses to see what we were in the market for (even we didn’t know) We didn’t find the perfect one so Dan and Charlene suggested we expand the search. We ended up with a beautiful house in Venice. All the negotiations and paperwork was so overwhelming ( this was all on top of planning a wedding overseas the very same month we closed!!) but they made it so easy. Dan came in with all the numbers and Charlene explained what all those numbers meant. I never want to move, but if we do, Charlene and Dan are the only ones we are calling. On a personal note they are so lovely that both my husband and I feel like we made life long friends. We originally thought we were years away from being able to find a home anywhere near the South Bay within our budget, but Devin Jensen periodically sent properties to us for months until we found the perfect fit. Throughout the process he was extremely educational and patient, and persuaded us to view more to see what was out there before jumping the gun on a few of the early houses we visited. He got our offer accepted over 3 others, secured us a $10,000 credit after the home under appraised, and even went so far as to personally guarantee my deposit when we concerned about waiving certain contingencies. Although the seller put us on an extremely strict time table, Devin spoke with their agent, the escrow officer, and my loan officer almost daily to keep everyone on track (nights and weekends included). He advised us on remodel ideas and was familiar with the costs associated as well as offering vendors to bid it for us, and was able to help us close escrow in under 30 days. I don't think any other agent could have gotten this done as efficiently as Devin did, while keeping as much stress as possible off of our plates.
