Communication was good during the move in process but was cancelled on the day of viewing twice and once was a no show. I had to call them both times to hear they weren’t gonna make it to show me the property. Background process took longer than normal but with all the fraud I get it.

Maintenance is another story but I’m not gonna bash em, they try. Fence panels were falling apart. All off them (About 100 in total) but they only replaced maybe 20 of them. But they’re also at the limit of what the owners approve them to fix. So it is what it is. I replaced them myself out of my own pocket because it looked like crap. As I understand it from the previous tenant that now lives across the street rent will be raised to the max every year so that sucks and we will be gone within 3 years if that’s the case. All in all not a bad company to deal with. Not great either.

Wanted to rent a little place from thembut been dealing with the most condescending phone person ever. I booked to view the property at 3pm. Got there 3:15, called and was told they had left and I have to reschedule. we are already on our 2nd reschedule from them! I am thankful I dodged a whole lot of stress by looking up their reviews

I don't understand why there are so many bad reviews, my wife and I just rented out a new apartment through this company, had some minor issues that had to be taken care of before we moved in, and they handled it promptly and swiftly. They have helped us whenever we've had questions and are very easy to work with. Not to mention they processed and approved our application only within a few days. Daniel is super helpful.

I have had no problems with Jenkins Property Management. I didn't have my deposit ready for my first interview (Come to your interviews ready with deposit, money order only, in hand) so I didn't get the first apartment I wanted. My property manager/interviewer was super nice and recommended I go look at another specific location. I loved this apartment even better than the first. It's an old building so I've had some issues with bugs but Jenkins has sprayed for me when I asked them too. I haven't tried to move out yet so I don't know if they will try to stiff me on the deposit but so far they been very good to me, fresh out of college with no rental history and plenty of debt.

Hopefully this will save someone else the misery they put me through. DO NOT APPLY!!! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!

Long story short, I applied for an apt, they approved my app, but did not choose me for the unit I was applying for. Which is fine because they keep your file for 3months so that you can apply for other rentals they have listed.

I was in the process of applying for a different unit, when the owner Cathy says, "Hey the unit you originally applied for is now available again under weird circumstances. I'm offering it to you, I just need to get the unit cleaned again, I'll have the keys by Friday. Are you interested?" I say yes...

The Thursday before I'm supposed to have the keys, I CALL HER and she tells me "Sorry I can no longer offer you that unit."

I had already packed my whole apt and now I'm still looking for a place because I wasted my time waiting for Jenkins Poor Management.

Know I see why they keep there office door locked. Lol/smh.Because they do good people wrong.very nasty and rude and unprofessional "Cathy S. And Joshua .and the lady that hide behind the dark glass office. The only one that act like they have since is Chris. Thanks.They are all in people personal life. And etc... To all the rental seekers out there beware of these people and call BBB and Housing Rights center and Your lawyer

They will raise your rent without notice. They raised my rent this month they did not give any notice and just demanded I pay the new amount. I have been trying to contact them for a week now but they will not return calls. I have left voice mails for them everyday but they do not call me back. I am still a tenant in their roach infested apartment. I find roaches that are 2 inches big in my apartment every day. They send an exterminator that uses the same stuff I buy from Amazon and it doesn't work. He tried to blame me for shopping at Costco saying their boxes are filled with roaches.

Jenkins Property Management is unprofessional, condisening, confusing and unpleasant. My husband and I were looking to rent a home, we found a home we liked in Redondo Beach that was managed by Jenkins PM. When I read the reviews I didn’t want to deal with them but I learned that after they rented this home we wouldn’t be dealing with Jenkins but rather with the owner directly. The office staff in my opinion were not pleasant aside from Dee and Luis, everyone else that I dealt with were consinding. My husband and I are currently renting (paying the same price currently as the cost of this new home is), we have perfect renting history, PM (property management referrals), we qualify financially as well yet we were treated like second class citizens. The next day we get a call saying due to credit, we were denied. I’m so confused as our credit is over 800. There was no explanation given and they hung up. I will never do business with them again and I advise each of you reading this review to go with your gut on this one and look elsewhere. I had a really bad feeling doing business with them and now I’m so confused as to what actually happened and what the real reason for denial was. Very disappointing experience overall.
