Her language skills in both Mandarin Chinese and English are excellent. So she was able to communicate with my parents really well in Mandarin and me in English. This is also extremely helpful if you live in an area with a lot of Mandarin speaking buyers like Rowland Heights. She's able to communicate well to not only the seller like us but also to potential buyers in really selling the home to them.

She owns the staging company, so that made the process incredibly easy to get the house to show beautifully. She took care of and managed everything during this process. The before staging and after staging pictures were dramatic and the way she set up the home was definitely part of the reason it sold at such an excellent price.

January is also incredibly in tune with the small nuances of selling a home. She understands the emotional selling triggers that buyers need to see in a home to fall in love and feel confident in putting a strong offer in. She's also very experienced, so she understands and executes on the items that need to happen to protect the seller while being fair to the buyer.

She also helped us sell our home in the middle of the pandemic. And we're just incredibly appreciative of how much she did and how much she was willing to do throughout the process. This is my parent's home and they are older. So we really asked a lot of her to manage the entire process without my parents' presence. She was so gracious in this throughout the process and took care of so much beyond what a typical realtor would do.

The transaction was incredibly smooth and pleasant. This is absolutely not typical of a home sale in the price category ($1M+). She just knew exactly what needed to be done and when, so she was able to work with and bring in her network of contacts at the right time (handyman, painters, staging staff, financing bank, appraiser, escrow, etc.). Her resources were complete, reasonably priced and all of high quality.

Just do whatever she asked you to do for the preparation before the open house. I guarantee you will not be disappointed. She is so professional and will go above and beyond to make your house very attractive to get the maximum value for it.
