Other companies were offering me $15K to cover my closing cost, but little did I know, they were rolling those $15K into my mortgage without explaining in detail how it works. I thought this was a grant/gift for FREE, as they claimed. One day, I received a letter from the town of Union City, claiming I was eligible to receive $15K for closing cost towards my home purchase, this was a lie and wasted a day of work.
