I wanted to share my personal experience with Independence Realty (Rob specifically). My friend and I are college students, but we couldn't afford to stay on campus any longer. We looked everywhere for a place to stay, but we kept getting turned down because we didn't make 3x the rent. We didn't have anyone to turn to to co-sign for us, and there was only a limited amount of time we had to move out of our current spot on campus. When I called Independence Realty, I spoke to Rob and told him our situation. He was very willing to help us out even though we didn't make 3x the rent. I toured a place, and he offered it to us immediately, which was the best thing that could happen to us! I am so grateful that we came across an understanding man like Rob, and I would highly recommend this realty to anyone who might be in a binding situation like mine.

The Owner of Independence Realty - Bob/Rob is a terrible and unfriendly landlord who does not even pretend to care about his clients. Applying to Rent was unprofessional at best- I was made to pay a 65$ dollar Application Fee Twice and was then denied the next day due to an error in their online form that was not even my fault. Their is no understanding or middle-ground with Rob and his staff; Rob is the WORST real-estate agent I have ever met.

I was very satisfied with this company. I highly recommend this company. Robert Taylor is great and does the best job. I rented one of his rental properties and I had no complaints at all. He makes sure the property is well taken care of and kept his promise on giving me a great, affordable, safe place to reside. I appreciated that not only is he a great Realtor but it is always wonderful to do business with someone that is kind and compassionate with a welcoming warm smile.

I really love Robert and Ashley!! They are an awesome pair to work with. The choices in housing Independence Reality has are great! I've been with them for years and have never been disappointed. I move to what I feel is best for me and my situation. Robert is the sweetest!!! Love him to pieces!

My husband and I moved from Alabama in 2010 and we hired Independence Realty to be our property management company. In the beginning, things were a little bit rough, we were working with a lady by the name of Constance. She was a hot mess! Robert Taylor phoned me one evening and notified me that he had taken over all of her properties and she was no longer with the company (shew, thank goodness)!! Once Robert took over, we haven't had any issues that wasn't fixed immediately. For instance, one of his assistance sent us a rent check for a different property. He paid almost $30 of his money to send us an over night check to Alaska. Back in June, our tenants lease was up and he wanted to move but Robert sealed the deal and we arranged different lease agreement to fit the tenants budget. I couldn't be happier with Robert and Independence Realty. I would not want any other company to handle my property because they couldn't compare to Robert. I really appreciate everything he has done for us!! Out of the three years we have used Independence Realty, we have had to pay to fix a fence and the walls needed painting but other than that...When people have moved, we have had people in the home within a couple of months. I've heard horror stories of property management companies nickel and diming their clients but never have had that experience with Mr. Taylor. EVER!!! 🙂 I would HIGHLY recommend Independence Realty. You won't find a better property management company. 🙂 We have been with Independence Realty for three years and will continue.

I have been with Independence Realty for some years now, and I don't have any complaints! They are really good about maintenance. Usually when I put in a workorder, the problem is usually taken care of within the next 1 to 2 days. They are very efficient and Ashley is very sweet and always courteous and nice!

I rented an apartment by Independence Realty and paid on time every month and as a matter of fact I paid early every month and I left the apartment in perfect condition and Mr. Robert Taylor refused to return my security deposit. The first time I called a month later he claimed to have not inspected the apartment yet which was a lie due to neighbors witnessing not only the staff entering the apartment days after I moved but him showing it to a potential renter. The second time I called weeks later he claimed the apartment was a mess and he will be keeping the apartment which is a lie also. If you decide to rent from this company make sure you have good documentation and cover yourself and pay close attention, but on the other hand why would anyone want to do business with someone that is that crocked and unprofessional. I have definitely learned my lesson. I had no ideal renters would stoop so low to avoid paying back a security deposit.
