Tara is AMAZING. She makes everything simple and easy to understand. She is always available and replies to my emails or texts within minutes. Communication is so important with something as tricky as home loans, refinances, and mortgage questions and she really does a great job of it. I was terrified being a first time home owner AND when I went to refinance my home 2 years later but Tara helped me with both and made the process painless 🙂 I would recommend her to anyone!!

I reached out to Tara last May to inquire about refinancing our home. Within 48 hours we had finished our application and it was being sent to processing and underwriting. Clear to close in less than two weeks. We were also able to lower our interest rate and drop our mortgage payment by $200!

Fast forward to January of this year...my husband and I decided we were going to sell and buy a bigger house. We met with our realtor and signed on a lot. Again, Tara is coming in clutch here. Even though our house won't be ready for several months, she treated us as if we were ready to buy/move! Within 48 hours (again!), Tara had our application ready for processing. We are already conditionally approved from underwriting. Tara and her team do. not. play.

Tara is THE BEST! After an emphatic recommendation from a friend I used Tara for the purchase of my first home (and have since used her again for refi) and let me tell you, she is wonderful! ESPECIALLY GREAT FOR FIRST TIME HOME BUYERS she takes all the confusion out of the process, breaks it down for you, makes things simple and easy to understand. Tara and her team are very digitally connected so the paperwork is a breeze, and they are very quick to respond and answer any questions.
Tara makes what could be an overwhelming and stressful process into an easy and even JOYFUL one! (Yes I said the mortgage process can be joyful with Tara involved).

Homerate Mortgage is an amazing company. We have refinanced our home a couple times and have always used Tara. Yes I’m sad she moved to AL but I can always use her for our home buying needs. You Will not be sorry if you chose them because they are awesome! Who can refinance a home in 14 days? Tara can!!!
