These guys charge extra for literally everything. Want to pay your bill online? That'll be an extra $2.50. Want to get a bill in the mail? $2. Need someone to come out to your house? $80. Out of all of the utility providers, they are the only one I've had that charges you to pay them. Guess I'll go the old fashioned way and write a check.

It sucks that they are starting a 2 dollar cost for sending you a paper bill They are blaming it on Ascend Performance Materials closing and the stamps increasing With the new building of homes, stores, car washes and running a new line down the old Laurens Highway you would think they were making enough money of a product that is given by God, called water!!!! The greed for money and those at the top having to have a million dollar salary is unreal!!! Senior Citizens are getting forced to cover another unwanted cost!!!

They take so damn long to answer the phone when you call. All they do is put you on hold and take a whole hour to answer the phone and they be taking there sweet time. They take to long. They trash

Called over a gas leak a few months ago & they said they don’t service my house.

Turns out, they found my account, shut it off & it’s nearly impossible to pay online or via phone. Do not have the means to drive to their physical location. Will continue to sit here with no heat or hot water.

I personally do not like CPW. They’re difficult to get in touch with, the automated system is not helpful at all, the app is even more difficult, and the way their billing print outs are is confusing to read. I’ve used them for water only for 6 months and paid them $1000. I needed to move 8 minutes down the street so my disabled mother could come live with me and they charged me a $300 deposit just to transfer my water service- after paying off my bill( plus I HAD LITERALLY JUST PAID THEM $300 a week prior). Some of the representatives are nice and helpful and some talk to you like you’re illiterate when asking simple questions(AGAIN bc the way they set everything up is very confusing). They close early on Fridays - which going with the theme seems odd since a large group of people are paid on Fridays. Too expensive, too difficult🤷🏼‍♀️👎

I made a payment early before the due date and my payment was on automatic draft. It still pulled another payment , in which i had a credit showing. I called someone in customer service who didn’t even take the time to look at anything she automatically sent me to a supervisors voicemail. I called back spoke to Michelle, which is on the cashier line and she was awesome. She took time to find the answers for me and was able to get my credit put back in my account as well and remove me from auto draft. Thank you Michelle❤️.

Power out with Helene they reported my entire woodgields srea as with power complete last Sunday it’s Friday we have not heard one word except you post us as neighborhood complete we have our trees almost not blocking the road, I don’t care we out of power I get that but posting on yr cpw website we have power is false information and not helpful at all also charged me upwards of160$ to relight my gas water heater pilot light and only let’s see how miserable you can make is in the aftermath of hurricane Helene 2024 I’m calling the governor!’
