I've been in my home three years and I've been nothing but pleased. This is the third time I've built a home and working with Green Hill Builders exceeded my expectations. It's a very well-built home and despite building during covid, Green Hill finished my home two months early-- getting me in before Christmas. So many design features are included, any upgrades I asked for were easily accommodated, and Green Hill has been very responsive to fix little odds and ends in the first year. Working with Kevin and Marissa has been a 5 star experience!

UNETHICAL. SHADY. I wouldn't normal leave a review like this but what I just experienced, I have to.

The fact that I have to leave any stars is too good for this shady business. My wife and I did a scheduled showing on Saturday April 13th, 2024 and absolutely fell in love with the house. It was listed of for $809k.

We even confirmed the price and we were told by the listing agent to put in for the $809k price. We submitted our FULL PRICE offer promptly on Monday morning with EARNEST MONEY ready to go. The listing agent provided us all of the documents to have signed about the HOA, the square footage....etc.

We were then told by our realtor after signing all these forms (see attached) that the seller would not accept our offer because he was raising the price to $829k. The listing agent was not informed of this price raise KNOWING there was a showing on Saturday, and even attempted to reason with the seller and he refused to budge.

What kind of shady business dealings are being run out of Green Hill builders. This should never happen, but especially for a Navy family who is preparing to PCS from overseas to the area and does not have the luxury of worrying about bait and switch tactics by a FAMILY-OWNED company. Not really family friendly for a family business.

Extremely disappointed. Upon completion of a new construction on a property adjacent to mine over a year ago, I was promised that the shared drive would be fixed upon completion. They seemed nice at first, but he material used was non permeable and was crowned the wrong way. The work was performed without consultation. Now water runs off on to my property flooding it. Calls and e-mails to the developer/realtor have gone unanswered just for a couple of simple fixes. Understand the new home owners were not been please also with some of work and unresponsiveness for a home less than a year old.
