I really wanted to support a locally owned and operated company but unfortunately have been burned by Trevor’s practices at Green Door Management. Both myself and the website he hosts his properties on have been trying to track him down for weeks! He won’t answer anyone…even though the website has a hold on his payout!

Trevor cancelled my stay—claiming the dates were double booked—but then proceeded to submit the cancellation as “customer initiated” which means I got no refund… despite the paper trail that proves the opposite! At first I wanted to believe this was user error, as he sent the message and made the change at 5:30 in the morning but since he’s been radio silent I’m lead to believe this is more intentional.

No one answers the listed phone line and the office address online is inaccurate. To add to it, most of the 5 star reviews are from his family—the Packers.

As a small business owner myself, I always opt to support family businesses, but when someone does stuff like this—it hurts the reputation of us all!

I’m am going to try to make this as short as possible but I have SO much to share. This deserves a 0/5 stars.

My boyfriend and I travel together for work so we rented a fully furnished property through Green Door Management. We never received any check in information and we had called the office the day before. We were told that it would be sent within an hour but it never was. The following day we drove 8.5 hours from TN to GA. We received only the code after calling multiple times and being ignored for about 6 hours of the drive. Talk about a stressful situation. But it only gets worse. After arriving at the property, we used the code provided to us to enter what we thought was our building. Come to find out, the code worked for someone else’s building and I guess we were just to suppose to assume our door was in the back of the building, because it was never explained to us nor was that information provided in the check in email that we never received. After entering the correct property the first thing we noticed was a water bottle and a key? We began to look around and we found, a moldy washer, dog hair on the couch, A LOT of prescription drugs, over the counter drugs, and recreational drugs (aka a dab pen), and so much more. The property was obviously never cleaned but we also realized that the photos were falsely advertised! The laundry room isn’t true to size, there aren’t any shelves in the bedrooms, and the “closets” look like hobbit holes. I really don’t think crawling on my hands and knees into the closet to retrieve my clothes makes this a closet. After being there for about 15 minutes max, we really thought someone was going to come back so we ended up staying in a hotel that night because we felt so uncomfortable and unsafe. The next morning we reached out to Green Door Management repeatedly and after hours of trying, finally heard from Trevor, who agreed to meet with us at the property to discuss our concerns. We wanted out of the lease, just like any normal person would, but after hearing back from him later that day, we were told that the owner wouldn’t allow this. We never saw or talked on the phone with Trevor ever since that day, and it’s been a month. MANY phone calls and voicemails were made, along with many emails that were only responded to when Trevor felt like it, which wasn’t often. After calling the office and sending many follow up emails that were never responded to, we finally decided to show up at the office and speak with him directly because we were skeptical. THE OFFICE DOESN’T EXIST & he refused to give us an updated address. The website also never worked during this entire process. We thought we got scammed by this company until we went to the extreme and reached out to the owner of the property, who claimed to be left out of the loop. Green Door Management withheld more than $4000 of ours for a place that we only stayed at for about 15 minutes. Trevor didn’t even have the generosity to return a voicemail, nonetheless an email at a timely manner if any at all. Luckily for us, someone eventually took over our lease, so we were told (bless them), so we FINALLY and gratefully got out of our lease and received a slight refund after fighting for it.

So long story short, don’t expect what you see in the photos, don’t expect professionalism from Green Door Management or anyone affiliated with it, don’t expect them to answer your phone calls or respond to any voicemails or emails. I truly despised this business with a burning passion and Green Door Management doesn’t have a professional bone in their body, especially Trevor. He is a very impossible man to get ahold of. They’ll probably deny everything but all information I have provided is 100% accurate and I wish I was being dramatic, but I promise I am not. Good luck.

Literally zero problems before, during and after our stay.
They went out of their way to make our stay unique and special including a welcome note and drinks!
10/10 recommend!

I highly recommend Trevor and Greendoor management. He is very reliable and tends to your every need! I’m not sure why people would say otherwise, nothing but good things about him and greendoor management! Highly recommend!!
