This guy Jared is a flat out liar. Resorts to personal attacks as a rule. Stay away! I have no idea how he has so many good reviews only that my assumption is that they are fake. Have personally spoken to many individuals in relators who have had a bad experience with this guy. They just don’t bother to warn other people. Is often the case where these people will ask friends and family to leave them reviews that aren’t accurate. My review is based on working with Jared for a brief time. Nothing I say here is a fabrication or exaggeration of the truth. Jared resorted to personal email attacks after I expressed dissatisfaction with his communication. That very situation is submitting all documents I was asked to then not hearing back for a week. I contacted him as to where we were in the process of the loan and he requested additional information which I was prompt in submitting. Had I not contacted him I wouldn't have known what else he needed. I expressed dissatisfaction with this. At this point he sarcastically told me he felt like he had to "hold my hand through everything ". He was very unprofessional and didn't like to have his tactics questioned. He pointed out what a nice guy he was (which I could care less about as this is a business deal..I don't know him and he doesn't know me) Jared then threatened to use my personal information provided to on my mortgage application against me by calling my employer and telling them about "my poor judgement and behavior " . Hey Jared...I'm the customer! You work for me but instead of making me happy which would have been easy as an apology and an attempt to improve the issues I pointed out you resorted to personal attacks. I offered to come to his office to speak face to face about these issues and he said he would have me removed from the premises if I showed up at his office. He perceived my overture of a meeting as a threat. Wonder what he has to hide? I told him to not contact me further which he ignored by sending another email after which I blocked further communication from him. THEN HE CALLS ME the next day and wants to bury the hatchet and proceed with the loan! I didn't respond. This guy is a child. After this his loan processor calls me to have a conversation with him and his manager! At this point I'm tired of this and I simply told him that if Jared had anything to do with this loan I wanted no part of it. How can I trust a guy like this? I'd pay a higher rate to not be involved with Jared. He has low rates but from other reviews it sounds like he promises big but does not deliver. This has been stressful and I'm putting this behind me. Don't get caught in the same situation!

Jared was the best! We were first time home buyers from the Bay area and knew nothing of the home buying process. Jared was fast and efficient in every way in securing the best rate and loan. Jared took care of every question and request we had at any time of the day. Shopping for a trustworthy person is hard these days but Jared bent over backwards for our family. We now have a great home!

Golden State Home loans did a great job! Jared was so knowledgeable about the market that when the builders' lender was trying to steal me away (never would happen) and lock me in at high rate, he was patient, and able to get me over a point lower. Submitting paperwork was a breeze, and he found the best lender for our situation. Truly a consimate professional at all times, even when I was frantic. 😀

Jared was wonderful. This is the first mortgage I have gotten since I retired. It was complicated because I had 4 sources of income which had to be verified. Then in the middle of it Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae changed the rules and we had to start over with a new lender while rates were rising. Jared and his team had excellent communication and follow up. He was very concerned to find a lender who could get me the same rate I started out with. I am a former commercial banker, and so I know a few things about customer service. He really went the distance for me and we closed several weeks ago. I would highly recommend him and his team.
