I originally found Mike through Redfin. What drew me to him was he was selling one of the cheaper homes in our area, so I thought there would be a chance he wouldn’t turn up his nose at our little cabin, despite his other higher end listings.
As I had hoped, Mike did not. He told me a story of another house that sold, despite it needing work and I really felt good about his positive attitude. He wasn’t cocky; he wasn’t dismissive, but reassuring and hopeful. It was a big difference from another realtor we had used in the past. And this realtor did not sell our house.
Mike sold our home and got us a fair price for it. This was not an easy transaction and process because it was rented and the renter was not always very accommodating. We were tired of being landlords and unfortunately couldn’t refinance when the interest rate was low. We just didn’t foresee the rates spiking so high and the rent just was not covering the mortgage and the next door neighbors that bought the place next to us were not the best as well. It was time to sell.
Mike just kept plugging along until he found us a buyer that wanted it and after negotiating back and forth a bit, we sold it. It was such a relief and a blessing for us.
Mike has a calm and peaceful way about him. He tries to see everything in a positive light and if things are not ideal, he even puts that in a gentle way. In my line of work, I’m used to people being angry and direct, so that was quite a change for me, to have someone be polite in the face of chaos.
You know how you just have a gut feeling about someone despite not meeting them in person? Well Mike’s positive, calm, and reassuring attitude sold it for me. That’s what I felt in our initial conversation.
Mike is responsive, communicative, easy to reach and will advise when he can, but ultimately will leave the final decision to you. He is there for your interests and will work for you nonstop.
We surely will not hesitate to use him again in the future.
