It was great working with Mike. He never pressured us for a sale and was easy to work with when we were ready to buy. He walked us through the custom order process and set an accurate build and delivery timeline. He was flexible when it came to delivery (rainstorms made a mess of our newly graded yard and we didn’t want it rutted out) as well as payment options. I have had my shed since 20/20 and with all the rain this summer, A board that just goes across the top of the doors fell off, I called Mike on 11-12 asked if I still had a warranty, he said yes, and had the new board put on today 11-22. Most companies promise you warranties and never follow through, and well this company did, Mike is GREAT!! I have been happy with my shed all these years and it actually still looks brand new!!

Mike is very knowledgeable about what he sells. We couldn’t get a ready built shed into our yard and he suggested we have one built. The only thing we did was supply the block. This morning at 10 AM the truck arrived with 2 very hard working young men. They built a beautiful building from the floor up in one day. It is just beautiful! Thank you so much for the hard work of the two young men and Mike for coordinating a smooth experience. Highly recommended!

My father purchased a 12x32 garage. The process was really simple. The owner, Mike, was very knowledgeable.

After checking out all the other ones around town, we could recognize quality. The few extra dollars that was paid was well worth it. It’s already been over a year, and the building is just as solid today as it was when purchased.

No issues with purchase.
No issues scheduling delivery.
No issues setting it in the location we specified.

Everything was exactly how he said it would happen . I’ll point out one thing: this owner ALWAYS responded to a text message, and usually picked up the phone, or called back shortly after missing the call.

We had a great experience from the time we entered Mike's business location in Sumter. He was very knowledgeable about the product and not a pushy salesman. He made suggestions about what was offered but never pushed you to purchase add on's if you didn't want them. When the lofted barn shed was delivered the delivery person caused minor damage the unit and Mike stood behind his promise that the customers satisfaction was his priority. He ordered new parts and had the issue resolved as soon as they came in. His communication and follow up is only one of his strengths I would recommend Genesis Portable Buildings of Sumter to anyone looking to purchase a shed. We are a very satisfied customer.
