Darlene was amazing!! She was so personable, honest, reliable, patient and gave us great advise while letting us make our own decisions. She was not aggressive or pushy as we have experienced with other realtors. She was very accessible at anytime of the day. I asked her 101 questions and she always responded earnestly. She made the experience very smooth and my family and I would certainly use her for future realtor needs. I will definitely recommend her to family and friends!

What a disappointment! When visiting from Texas during Thanksgiving week, we contacted Darlene regarding a lot she had for sale. We wanted to move closer to family. Darlene immediately set up an appointment for us to meet her and the ONLY builder she works with (won't sell the lot if this builder isn't used}. We looked at a house he had built for his son, a nice house but not what we wanted. He said he could also do the landscaping. We did a handshake agreement with Darlene, that we wanted the lot and would send our house plans to them, which we did. With no response a few weeks later, we followed up and she told us "Billy the Builder" was working on the plan and they would get back to us after the holidays (Christmas and New Years). Ten days into the new year with still no response, we called her again. She said they had lost the plans we had sent and asked that we resend them. Not so professional. We discussed that we wanted a different plan, which she indicated was not a problem (probably because nothing had been done on the initial plan!) We sent it to her. A few days later and still no response so we called again. She wants us to talk to Billy because he only builds certain plans--that's what he and his crew are familiar with. Holy Cow, why weren't we told this when we met with them in November!!! This "builder" must be as big a joke as Darlene because his answering machine says his business is a LANDSCAPE company! Now a week later and still no return call from either Darlene or Billy...Heartbroken that we cannot get this lot, build the home of our dreams and be only a mile away from elderly family members!
