Not too sure why they offer a “slice” thickness at the deli, when even if you ask for it thin you get a half inch thick slice of deli meat. I don’t understand why cutting it on a thin setting is so difficult.

Shop here frequently. Prices on meat, Is generally good, but quality and selection leaves something to be desired. Everything in the middle aisles seems to be at least $1-2 above Aldi and Lidle but a tiny bit cheaper than ingles. Staff have always been super friendly. I think it is the assistant manager I spoke to and she is super sweet and helpful!

*update* Prices used to be ok, they have skyrocketed. I think they believe they are Ingles or publix. The congestion in the store is starting to remind me of Family Dollar.

Clean, friendly, and plenty of checkout assistance . I purchase 2 lbs of Black Angus Roast Beef every week. It's moist, but not dripping wet like others , and it's $4 lb. Cheaper than ALL their competitors, Slicked @ .5 . Beautiful flavor . And Extra Sharp Chedder ++ selection are plentiful.

This place is always busy it seems. I usually swing by after work and it's usually busy. Lines are not terrible though. All the regular stuff you think you find in a grocery. They have a decent deli, produce, and meat dept. I like the food lion grocery layout. Easy to find and get. I don't shop for groceries often so not familiar with any BOGO or specials they run. Usually find em online if you check. They have a loyalty card thing and it gives a certain amount off the shelf price.
