1021 Sparrow Pond Cottage is beautiful and highly recommended! The homeowners and property management team are awesome to work with. The cottage is sparkly clean, beautifully decorated, and located within walking distance of the beach. We stayed for 4 days and had an amazing time. With a 2-car garage, fully equipped kitchen, washer & dryer, TV's in every room, board games, and screened patio, it was the PERFECT vacation destination.

This is an update of my previous review. I'm pleased to now rate ESPM 5 stars based on their subsequent customer service, as well as my rental experience on Kiawah last week. After my last review Hillary reached out and apologized for things falling through the cracks during my last rental booking. As it turned out, my reservation was intact but never communicated to me. After that, everything went very smoothly and we had a wonderful week in one of their managed properties. So good, we are returning in April! Thank you to Hillary for acknowledging the mix-up, and most importantly, making things right.

Our family has owned rental property on Kiawah Island for over 25 and have used ESPM for our property management needs since 2009. Having used other property management companies in the past, we know that quality of service can vary greatly from one place to the next. We have been very pleased with ESPM’s professionalism, attitude, and impeccable service. Danielle, Hillary, Alex and the rest of ESPM’s staff have really taken our villa to the next level and our guests routinely comment on the wonderful service they received from the team. On an island with over 600 vacation rentals on VRBO alone, we need to provide an exceptional experience to each guest so when their travel plans bring them back to Kiawah or they hear of someone going to Kiawah they automatically recommend our villa. It has worked wonderfully. Since moving to ESPM, we have gone from three (3) returning renters each year to 14. Each returning guest comments that ESPM has make their stay so comfortable it makes the decision to return to the villa that much easier.

In addition to creating fantastic guest experiences, they also give us peace of mind. Living over 2,500 miles from our villa would certainly be stressful without ESPM. They frequently check the property and perform routine preventive maintenance. We never have to worry about things like filters, light bulbs, dishes, glassware or touch-up paint. They have a great staff of cleaning and maintenance professionals that keep our villa in the top tear of vacation rentals. Not only to they handle the preventative maintenance, they also keep us abreast of any items that could turn into larger expenditures. Each month we receive a statement with copies of invoices so we get a clear picture of what is happening with our property. If we ever have a question, we know that we can email or call to get our answer. The management team has a very professional attitude and has provided us with exceptional service.

Every light bulb inside and outside the home works.......which tells me they pay attention to the details. ESPM communicated clearly and often.......and always responded in a very timely manner. My family and I stayed at a beautiful home on Kiawah Island for a week and aside from the vacation being as relaxing and enjoyable as could be, the experience and service which we received from the staff at ESPM Vacation Rentals was as amazing as the accommodations. About a week ago I booked a vacation rental, including 100% up front credit card payment and signed 6 page contract. I then booked air travel for the selected week in Kiawah. Three days later I get 4 emails in succession recharging my card and then cancelling the charges. Confused, I called and left a message. The call went unreturned. Since the, I have left 3 phone messages over three days and have also emailed them. Still no response. Unbelievably poor customer service in a hospitality vacation rental business. Book at your own risk!!

Typical vacation type rental in exclusive house type setting 3 miles from gated community where it rents vacation rentals year round. I assume it sells these vacation type homes as well as larger exclusive million dollar homes in a recreational area, beach, golf course, assorted pools on Kiawah Island were the wealthy own and rent more exclusive homes on and off the beach.
