DO NOT do business with Raymond Dobbs. If you think that you are handing over a deposit you are sadly mistaken. That is a gift to Dobbs property management. Our house was near spotless from top to bottom when leaving. Everything clean, all light bulbs matched and working, professionally carpet cleaned with. Receipt. Yet Raymond kept our $1900 deposit and charged an additional $70 just to slap us in the face. This is what 4 years of hassle-free rent payments gets you. Stay away from the epitome of the term “slum lord”. Deal with a reputable property management company and save yourself the headache and hard. Earned money. Good luck

Dobbs managed my condo for roughly 15 years before I sold the unit. Raymond Dobbs rented me a home, which I was unable to personally inspect. Dobbs assured me it was move-in ready. When I showed up with the moving truck, the home was filthy. There was food smeared on the glass doors, the entrance was covered in mud, the floors were dirty, baths and toilets were discussing, the countertops were dirty. The place was a complete mess. We did not have money to pay our movers to wait around while we tried to clean it, so we had to make the best of things and clean over the next several months.

When we terminated the lease, Dobbs actually had the nerve to withhold the entire deposit on the grounds that "the place was filthy" and bill an additional $500 and change to us. I actually spent two days cleaning the home, and it was in much better condition at the time I left than it had been in when it was turned over to me.

Of course, under California law, he is not allowed to charge the tenant for conditions that pre-existed my occupancy. I would never do any form of business with Raymond Dobbs again.

Amazing company that actually manages real estate; keeps on eye on the properties and makes sure prospective tenants are qualified. Please note that the low star ratings are from people who tried to take advantage of the landlord; this doesn't happen when you have a professional property manager and Mr. Dobbs is a pro.

A reality lady name Michele was very rude, She wanted $20.00 deposit for key. The place I want to look at looked like it hasn't been cleaned in a while. I brought the key back and waited 10 min. to give her the key cause she was on the phone. I called Rayman Dobbs, the owner, and he could care a less. Avoid these people at all costs.
