I wouldn’t recommend staying here. Firstly, when I first moved here everything was alright. Although I did see a lot of water damage to my ceiling the day I moved in. I was 7 months pregnant and wasn’t even able to see the apartment until I paid the deposit and first months rent. Bizzare. So after a few months living here, they cut down the basketball goal. Didn’t send out an email or anything to inform the residents on why. Also since the day I moved in( back in January) that pool has not been open. They decided to start working on it in August, here it is October and it’s still not opened. These things are apart of the “amenities” that people rent for and no one has access to them. Sad. Then there also has been car break ins. I lock my doors faithfully, some days I go to my car and see my glove compartment wide open with my belongings scattered over my seats. All they did was threaten eviction and a fine on whoever is responsible. No cameras out here. I wouldn’t rent here. Also leaks from upstairs and the upstairs neighbors are extremely loud.

Not many issues with my unit but if you are looking for amenities this isn’t the best option. It is half way through August and the pool still hasn’t been opened up for the summer. There also hasn’t been any update on when it will. The basketball goal has also been gone most the summer and no update when it will be replaced either. The gym isn’t very well maintained either. But like I said the actual living spaces are fine just wouldn’t recommend if amenities are important to you.

DO NOT STAY HERE
Since I’ve been here it has been nothing but horrible.
1000 a month and there are car break ins every night with guns being stolen from multiple cars.
I've heard gun shots.
Constant water leaks that cause mold in the hvac and in between the walls that never get addressed.
They cut the basketball hoop down.
The pool has never been opened not even for a minute.
Horrible neighbors that scream at their kids non stop.
Adults who try to sell weed to middle and high schoolers.
And to top it all off management knows about all of this, and has done absolutely nothing to resolve any of these issues.

You can go stay at the links that has the exact same issues for 3-4 hundred less a month. At least the links has basketball courts, a tennis court, two open pools, a golf course, and police presence. I wouldn’t sign another lease at either of these places if it was free, but this is definitely worse than the links.

The manager of the leasing office was extremely rude and disrespectful. We went to the office to resolve a noise complaint which was unfair. Since my children do not live with me but yesterday at around 6pm they came to visit me, and five minutes had not passed when a security who said she was from the apartment complex came and knocked on the door in a very disrespectful way and yelled at my mother in a very rude way. Today we went to the office and the manager did not help us and was extremely rude and discriminatory. We need to talk to the senior person in this complex because there are laws and professional ethics that the staff in this complex do not follow.

We lived here for 5 years. And after a change in management this last year was Hands down the worst renters Experience of my life. Avoid this place like the plague if you value your life, property, and sanity. My car was broken into 6 times and my husbands was twice People bang on your doors all hours of the day and night. Rocks thrown at windows. Maintenance doesnt do their job and likes to lie about it. Kids walking around with airsoft guns and bebe guns threating to shoot each other and random people trying to walk their pets. The pool was closed for over a year. The basketball court was torn down and in the five years we lived there the condition of the gym only got worse. We barelt slept at night. We never felt safe. I was 2 weeks postpartum and broke down and begged the managers to do their job and was called threatening and hostile. They then threatened me with a 3 day eviction notice and said If i wanted to keep living there the only person they would communicate with was my husband. We dealt with this and so much more. So we broke our lease. We gave them notice. We paid the total fee of 2008$. We were assured several times we owed them nothing else. That we paid in full. We asked for 2 weeks for a reciept stating this and were denied one. Now a month later they are claiming we owe them another 990$ and if I dont pay in 15 days they will send us to collections. Im not going to both

Really great location that is very close to everything that you could need! The staff is very friendly and attentive, we have had a few issues, but the maintenance is always on top of it and makes sure to get whatever problem resolved right away. This complex is very community focused and makes sure to ask our opinions on what could improve our experience and the complex as a whole. Overall it’s a quiet complex and we haven’t had any major issues. I would recommend this complex to any and everyone.

Rude Manager

I've been a loyal customer of DLP for over a year, but recent changes in management have left me disappointed and frustrated. The new manager they've hired is incredibly rude and lacks any sense of customer care. When I had to cancel a contract due to a short trip to Arkansas, I expected a smooth process upon my return. However, when I inquired about renting a one-bedroom unit, I was told it was available but had to pay a fee. After paying the fee of $65, I was informed that the unit was no longer available, and I couldn't move in. Even when I visited their office in person, the management showed no interest in assisting me or addressing my concerns. It's disheartening to see such a decline in customer service, especially after being a loyal patron for so long. The manager's rude and dismissive behavior only adds to the disappointment. I hope the owner fires this lady ( manager). She is absolutely rude.

Awful place! They don't repair anything; the drains are constantly clogged in every sink, bathtub, & toilet, the floors have several soft spots on the upper floors, a bedroom window falls out & onto the bed everytime a strong-winded storm comes through, the patio & front doors are stuck most of the time for months on end... Don't waste your money renting here!
