DiPetrillo Properties operates locations all around Providence. I stayed at 15 Thomas St in North Providence for about a year between September 2018-August 2019. I never had any major complaints with landlord as most minor problems were caused just by living with 5+ other roommates. There is not a lot you can do about that so its important to focus on the advantages of student living and the ways that DiPetrillo makes this possible for you. In my time as a roommate of Thomas St I made friends with the other people I lived with. Everyone has their own room with updated number combination locks such that your personal belongings are secure. You can also choose to spend your time in your room and never really socialize with other people. I understand that some people just dont have time to socialize and its simply not an option. However, if you choose to speak with everyone else a common room has been provided and most of their apartments share a kitchen. DiPetrillo properties has made this kind of living advantageous because everyone pitches in to keep the apartment clean and orderly. When the trash can is full its the next person's turn to take it out. If you make dinner for yourself then you need to clean up your dishes so that everyone else can use the kitchen without stepping over your things. A maid comes in monthly to disinfect and do some deep cleaning while the maintenance guy comes by weekly to work on improvements. Some people don't understand the kind of costs that occur due to high turnover in student living. Most apartments don't have 1-2 people through them in a year. This particular apartment (one of many) has 6 people living in it per year and that can rotate often especially if people are graduating and no longer need the apartment. Given the challenge of maintaining these apartments I would say that the DiPetrillo team have done well.

I would say this is the perfect situation for students looking for a cheap alternative to finding a full priced apartment in the Providence area. You have the opportunity to live in a apartment without having to involve your friends to pay rent. This apartment also works well for young adults who have already graduated and are looking for a way to save their money after college. You can begin living here if you are no longer a student as well. Some of the smartest people I know are living here because the savings in rent are going right to their bank accounts. Definitely a good place to live if you can see the advantages being provided.

Very considerate and takes the interest of all tenants into consideration when making decisions or changes. Everyone is treated fairly and problems are addressed and fixed when they are brought to their attention. They are always extremely professional and empathetic when it comes to maintenance requests, issues with other tenants, and just basic things that landlords/managers should be dealing with. I have had absolutely no issues with them so far, and I look forward to renewing my lease!

At their core, DiPetrillo Properties provide quality student housing at an affordable rate. With safety as a primary concern of mine, I felt comfortable with their top notch security system. This includes burger alarms, video surveillance, and electronic personal door locks (meaning everyone has their own code to access their room). Also, their staff is available 24/7 should any issues arise. Other perks include internet, cable, monthly cleaning services, off-street parking, central AC, a fully equipped kitchen, and a fully furnished living room. While living at DiPetrillo Properties you will most likely be surrounding yourself with like-minded individuals: driven and ambitious students and/or young professionals. This makes for a wonderful little community, where long-lasting friendships are made.

No dishwasher for almost the entire 8 months that I was here, property manager promised to have it fixed/replaced and it never happened. It was blamed on Covid-19 pandemic several times… I know that you can find many in Best Buy and get one delivered to your door today.

My car was keyed down both sides and the property manager refused to look at the security footage for the week, only one night out of the 7 days I had not seen my car to notice it. Another tenants car war egged numerous times.

Maintenance is a joke. Things are hardly fixed and even when they are it was done wrong. The sink was leaking and somehow after it was “fixed” the hot and cold water were reversed.

A girl above me took a bath and the water leaked from her bathtub and caused a leak into my ceiling which created a huge bubble, soaked the carpet and left the kitchen table covered in water. Instead of immediately sending maintenance over, the property manager asked if the water was “dripping or pouring” out of the ceiling.

Maintenance and cleaning service will both enter after one knock and we were hardly ever notified in advance when they were coming. Cleaning services will clean you microwave, tub, toilet, and occasionally the sink in the bathroom. Don’t expect too much from them.

Property manager, Diane, is rude, disrespectful, and will not take concerns or requests seriously. There were multiple times she talked over me on the phone and ignored my requests or just yelled about a matter. Many problems during my time here were over exaggerated and there were many false accusations made by her towards me. Extremely unprofessional and I felt that I was being harassed by her.

Wifi is terrible, both me and my three other roommates had issues connecting to the internet during our week of midterms and I unfortunately had to go to a friends house to complete an exam. Property manager also offered to send IT over to examine the wifi but threatened that payment for him would come out of our security deposit, even though wifi is included in the lease.

I would never recommend renting from Dipetrillo Properties.

Nothing but a great experience! This was my first apartment ever, and I could not have been happier. The staff has been nothing but accommodating to the requests of myself and my suite mates. I don't think I would have been able to afford an apartment in Providence that's not only close to my job, but close to school, comes fully furnished with utilities included. Every single request we have had is fulfilled. I absolutely love living here!

Absolute worst rental experience we've ever had. Diane, property manager, is rude, unprofessional, insulting. She oversteps her boundaries constantly, is self-important, reactive, just not nice. She wants to be alerted of everything that goes on, but doesn't want to deal with things that the students call her about. Maintenance is a joke; no dishwasher for most of the time renting the apartment. Parking is terrible; students get blocked in by each other, can't get to work. Internet is unreliable, making it very difficult for online school/exams/midterms, etc. Not worth the $770/month. DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE.

The basic amenities my daughter has come to enjoy are all important. For example, heating and air conditioning, on-site laundry facilities, and storage space to name a few.

The property’s condition is in a healthy, sturdy condition. Their fabulous cleaning crew keep up the suites very clean.

My daughter has convenient access to gas, grocery stores, retail stores, as well as restaurants and entertainment.

She calls it her home because she feels at home.
