At Thanksgiving-time 2018, my brother, sister, and I decided it was time to put our deceased mother’s home in Watsonville up for sale. Because it was a unique property, with an historic schoolhouse in the backyard, we embarked upon our quest to find the best realtor in the area. I appreciated her frequent texts and conference calls so that we could discuss every aspect of the process of readying the house and property for sale. When situations became stressful, Dee Dee was always there to reassure us, often “hypothetically holding our hands,” reassuring us all that selling the family home can, at times, be stressful but it can be done.

Expecting all those involved in the sale of our home to be as “high octane” as she was, I was appreciative that Dee Dee would contact all players in the sale, loan agents, title companies, banks, contractors to step up their games, giving them a subtle kick in the rear if they started to lag, to work a little harder and faster and meet the deadlines we expected them to meet. It worked and the sale of our mother’s home is now complete and our tireless Energizer Bunny Realtor is now off to the spa!

Dee Dee created an amazing team and it took everyone’s input and cooperation to make it across the “home sold” finish line. I am overjoyed to report we made it yesterday. I don’t know of any realtor who would have dedicated more than a year of her life to bring the toughest property to sell on the market to appreciative new owners.
