If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Our year at Fruitdale Station was one of the worst rental experiences we’ve ever had.
The building is poorly maintained—elevators were down for weeks at a time, the water was turned off six times during our lease, and fire alarms went off in the middle of the night at least four times, disrupting everyone’s sleep. The noise levels in the building were constant, making it nearly impossible to enjoy any quiet time at home.
When it came time to move out, we were shocked by the charges they imposed. They billed us to resurface and repaint entire walls for a single nail hole—charges that go far beyond normal wear and tear. It felt like they were looking for every excuse to nickel-and-dime us on the way out.
For the steep rent they charge, this place is wildly mediocre. Save yourself the stress and look elsewhere. Fruitdale Station is not worth the frustration or the expense.

This property is indeed a scam, these reviews are accurate. We paid over $140 in application fees. Have a credit score well over 700. A credit check can be run in minutes in 2023. Was told it would take 2 to 5 days. No problem. After 10 days and several unanswered calls and emails, we asked for a refund for a service that was not rendered. They refused. My next report is to the BBB.

This property is a big scam. We have currently re-newed only because we came to know about their scams after we signed the lease.
The management is very poor at responding to any requests. Our dryer only dries one load of cloths after running two cycles. It is extremely cheap and energy inefficient and when i called someone to service the dryer i was told that the service person had already come when he clearly didn't. They completely lied about coming and servicing the dryer and when i emailed the manager Kathy she said she is not going to send the service guy again.
This property management gets all their money from their tenants. Our window had cracked not to our fault but we had to pay for it. Also after speaking to some neighbors we learned that these guys are notorious for keeping the deposit by making ridiculous excuses. They will inspect the place once the tenant moves out and during the inspection they will make a list of even the smallest wear and tear and use that as an excuse to keep the safety deposit. One tenant also got a bill for additional "damages" on top of not getting their deposit.
The management currently has a class action law suit against them which hopefully sets their right. and stop scamming people of their hard earned money.

I am stay in deanza property for five years. I had a small business in Mary ave Sunnyvale . Some reason my account can not work this month , so I need write a rental check by myself . I did research on google for deanza property’s address. Then I saw a lot of attack message under it. I want to say some of my feeling about this company.
Once time my AC does not work , it is summer time , a lot is customer complained . I Called the deanza property office number , they send the AC guy in 3hour .
Other day, my kitchen sink does not work , something blocking in there. I go to Home Depot buy a machine try to fix by myself , but the pipe 50 yard does not work . I called deanza properties . They send hummer guys after second day with No charge us.
There are many problem we had . We all got help. People just like this , when you got great service you tried to give good review , when you feel upset , you can take one day to writes a article there. I am stay in deanza property
For five years, around my store ‘s neighbor become to good friends . We all have good expensive in deanza properties, that’s why we stay here so long time. But we are busy to focus in our own business. No time to review a story . If I did not research address to send check , I won’t here. Anyway , to be good to people ,people to be good on you.

BUYER BEWARE - I have lived in Rancho La Mesa from De Anza properties for 2 years and this is the worst place I have lived. The management is rude, unprofessional, arrogant and scammers. They forced us to pay 1700$ for the cleaning and repair after vacating the place. For a spot on the carpet , they charged us for the carpet replacement. They themself broke a cover over the Microwave and charged us 325$ for the replacement of the full Microwave. Also the guest parking is such a problem, there are only 14 guest parkings in the whole mobile community. Stay away from this company!!

"How you did you get such an idea that the faucet in my kitchen was damaged by anything other than being used for so long and due to liming.The faucet has not been turning properly, washing the dishes and cooking has been difficult. As you mentioned when the maintenance-men were here they asked my nephew, who lives here and his name is on the lease, to show them the problem and while they were trying to fix it they made it even worse.
As to your A/C comments below, I think you have a very short memory. When the serviceman you sent out came to look into the issue he was shocked that the filter was so dirty and was not even the correct size. That was the reason that there was not an air flow!!!!! I think you should manage this property in a lot better way.
Ps.
If you do not fix the faucet or the ceiling which you have left undone for more than 4 months from early November I will not pay the rent till everything works properly .
Plus I am considering all legal options since proper way of communicating with you has always failed to deliver. I will be posting my concern on Yelp and other social media if not taken care of in due time.

They are DECEITFUL, money grubbing thieves, inconsiderate and will totally ignore your calls if they messed up something.
Ofcourse that's how they became a billionaire company. Never ever rent their commercial or residential properties. You will regret it for life!
