Our family has used David Painter for our real estate needs on several occasions...he is a true real estate professional. He is very knowledgeable with the Greenville market and stays up to date with the latest market trends. . As buyers, he spent time with us in the beginning to understand our needs, desires and budget so that we never wasted time. David always attended to our phone calls and follow up. We always felt he was working for us and looking for out for our family. As sellers, David brought extensive market research and comparables to our initial meeting to discuss putting our home on the market for sale. When my husband and I decided to sell our house, a friend highly recommended David Painter. When we met David, we were very impressed with his professionalism and commitment to getting our house sold quickly and at the right market price. At every step of the process, David far exceeded our expectations! He ensured we had a beautiful presentation and photos when we went on the market and we had a contract for our full asking price within 2 days! David’s years of experience and contract knowledge were invaluable to us as we went through the repair negotiation process. He kept in constant contact with us throughout the process to make sure we knew what we needed to do and what to expect in the next steps. He quickly responded to calls, emails and texts and was always patient with my numerous questions! I was amazed at the resources he had available! His contractor/handyman did excellent work at very fair prices. At the last minute, we realized we had a large workbench that needed to be hauled off and David was able to make arrangements to have someone take care of it for me. All the way through the closing of the sale of our house, David did an excellent job but he didn’t treat it as just another “business transaction” – he truly treated us like he cared about us personally as well and that made us feel that we could really trust David. I consider myself very blessed to have David Painter on my side during the sale of my house!

Simply the Best! We were referred to David (when we decided to move to the Greenville area, from another state), and we’re most certainly very happy we used David to help us find our new home. David was truly the best realtor we could have asked for when purchasing our first home! He has a great list of people to work with (brokers, inspectors, mold experts, pest control, etc.), and every one of his recommendations were spot on! He encouraged us to have many inspections and brought in expert advice on the property (as it is an older home), and we are so thankful that we followed all of his advice. We may not have done all of those inspections without his guidance, and we were able to negotiate more based on the results of those. More importantly, we are now in our home without any concerns! Peace of mind is great for a first time home buyer, and we are truly in our dream house! David was readily available throughout the entire process and helped to make it as stress-free as possible. My husband and I decided to put our home on the market and sell it ourselves. It was on the market for almost 3 months when David Painter called me one evening and wanted to show our home the next morning. The following morning David arrived with a great smile and a warm handshake, introduced his client and asked if I'd mind showing the house. He was so professional and helpful along the way. At the end of the showing and general conversation, a few laughs, he said, I will probably be calling you later this afternoon, I think we may have a contract. It went exactly as he said and we did get a call later that afternoon with an offer and he asked us to meet him at his office. Since I didn't have any experience with Real Estate, I asked David if he would handle all the paper work. That was the end of our concerns, as David Painter took over and handled the rest. He stayed in constant contact with us and held our hands along the way and we had no stress. He is so friendly, makes you feel like a friend and I would highly recommend him to my family and friends without hesitation. In fact ,I did and he now has my very close friends house on the market.

This is my third time going through the home buying process and by far the best. David was actually the listing agent and represented the sellers. He went above and beyond to find out details that were important for us to know about the property we were purchasing. For example, the property had ponds and he spent hours researching people with the right expertise that could test the water for us so we would feel 100% comfortable with our purchase in the end. He connected us with superb people that helped us through the whole process. David always responded right away to emails or calls. From the beginning he also has always been honest and upfront with us. In the beginning he told us how important it was to surround himself with good, honest people who do their jobs right and that rang true over and over throughout the whole process. The inspectors, handy men and all he provided were superb. He made sure we had great communication with the sellers and each side understood each other well and fairly. My husband and I highly recommend David Painter as a realtor because of the peace we feel now just a few days before our closing of our next home and next chapter in life together. David Painter is “5 Stars” in my book. I don’t just check the box without backing myself with explanation, so my review of David is straightforward, honest, and will hopefully let others know who they need to contact when buying or selling a home. My wife and I met with David about a year ago when we were looking at a home in the area to purchase. He was showing us a property and not only did he provide everything we were looking for at the time, but he also helped us decide that this was not our long-term home. We have specifics that we are both wanting to find and he could have easily told us what we wanted to hear and probably created a potential sale, but instead he gave us information that would ensure that he would be our realtor. The information he gave us was his honesty and expertise in the real estate market, and the understanding that this property (as beautiful as it was) would be best to pass on and instead wait for the right home that would meet our needs without compromise. That evening we decided that he was our realtor and we would use David for our existing home sell and new home purchase. We postponed our home sale for almost a year due to work/personal schedules, but my wife sent him an email letting him know that we were ready to sell and purchase and asked if he could come out to our home and meet with us. He immediately responded, met with us and we discussed both our current and future needs. We knew we could put our trust in his knowledge to assist us along the way. He listened to us tell him about other similar properties to ours and then told us his method for a way to put us ahead of the competition. He made our online listing "pop" in both the professional pictures to the detailed explanation of our property and what we had to offer. Our home came under contract six days after David listed our property. Even in this seller’s market where homes in our area were sitting on an average of 39 days, he had a contract for sale in six. The buyer needed a fast closing and David was with us every step of the way, keeping us in close contact all the way up to our closing date when we received our “see you tomorrow at closing” email. We just finished closing and are completely satisfied with the process and now he is our agent in search for our next home. So I give him 5 stars for it all because when you use David for your real estate needs you will get that “Strive for 5 attitude” as well as a friendly realtor who has a vast knowledge in the real estate market.
